So far this machine is working great! Love it. Looks like it's made by the same company that made the one i returned that would only make 4 balls. That one had the side opening door and slightly different screen. Hopefully if I need customer service it's better than the last one.

It does produce ice. As mentioned in other reviews the ice bin is not insulated very well resulting in ice starting to melt almost immediately. In drinks the ice melts faster than manual options that are placed in a freezer resulting in drinks getting watered-down quickly. It does make ice to the relative size as advertised. I would say it wouldn't be bad for mixed drinks but wasn't a fan for a straight poor. Probably would not buy again and would consider a dedicated freezer and multiple sets of ice molds.

Machine doesn't keep the ice balls frozen. By the time you get a full tray the bottom ones are half melted into a basin that will recycle the melt into new ice balls. If you don't run a waterline to the back of the machine you have to constantly refill the water basin as it doesn't hold much water. The machine is quite large and the ice balls aren't a true two inch diameter either. The fan on the side of the machine exhausts hot air. You have to clean this thing often and the drain plug is on the bottom so you have to move this heavy machine around to drain it. Not worth all the hassle.

Purchased met all expectations. Once it gets rolling I always have iceballs available. Dont pay attention to reviews about the ice balls melt. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. Thats how table top ice makers work. They aren't freezers nor perfectly insulated. If using it regularly there's always a good amount of nice size ice balls available. My only complaint is I dont know why they didn't design the door to open all the way. Makes it hard to pour water in.
