I purchased 3 Bullet-PTZ cameras as an add-on to my Eufy PoE NVR system, and it has exceeded my expectations. The setup was incredibly simple. I connected it to the NVR, and it was recognized almost immediately. The 4K image quality is outstanding, with sharp detail during the day and excellent clarity at night. The pan and tilt feature gives me much better coverage than a fixed camera, allowing me to monitor a much larger area without adding multiple cameras. Motion tracking has also worked very well, keeping people and vehicles in view as they move through the scene. The build quality feels solid, and the camera integrates seamlessly with the rest of the Eufy ecosystem. I’ve been using the 16MP Triple-Lens Bullet-PTZ Camera with my eufy NVR setup for a week now, and I’m honestly impressed. The wide-angle 4K lens gives me a crystal-clear view of my whole yard, while the PTZ camera automatically zooms in and follows anyone who walks through—it’s almost like having a security guard on duty 24/7. The auto-framing is surprisingly smooth, and I was able to clearly see details from far away. Night vision is another big win here. Even without the spotlight on, the starlight color mode picks up colors in the dark that I didn’t think were possible, and turning on HDR makes license plates much easier to read. For security, the red/blue strobe and siren are great deterrents—I tested them out and they’re definitely attention-grabbing. The AI detection is spot-on. It can tell the difference between Animals, passing cars, and actual people, so I’m not bombarded with useless alerts anymore. Setup was pretty simple too since it runs on PoE, and I like knowing it’s recording 24/7 without relying on Wi-Fi. The two-way talk works well with little background noise, and the build feels rugged enough to handle weather without issues. Overall, this camera gives me peace of mind and delivers the kind of smart tracking and clarity that I just haven’t seen in other systems. These cameras are a very great option for your home security! They help detour some activities but nothing 100% prevents criminal actions. At least you’ll have a piece of mind at the end of the day. This purchase was my 6th camera so far (same models) and I’ve have the others for about a year now. The durability and connectivity is great and I truly like the features!     • Disappointing setup and poor support for an expensive system

I had high hopes for the Eufy PTZ PoE camera and DVR system; after all, the reviews were solid, the specs looked impressive, and I invested over $750 expecting a professional-grade setup. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but. From the start, the installation through the iPhone app was a nightmare. The camera refused to recognize the QR code, no matter how carefully I followed the instructions. When prompted to enter a setup code manually, I discovered there was no setup code anywhere on the camera or packaging — only a serial number. I spent over an hour searching before giving up. Next, I tried contacting Eufy Support, but that was another disappointment. The 800 number went straight to a message saying they were too busy to take my call, and I couldn’t even leave a voicemail. To make matters worse, the call was answered by Anker, which apparently owns Eufy. I’ve always liked Anker products, so this level of poor customer support was unexpected and frustrating. I’ve installed many video cameras over the years, and this was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had. It’s a shame, I really wanted to like this system, but between the setup failure and nonexistent support, I can’t recommend it. ... show more
