The scale seems to work fine and if that is what you are buying it for it should be OK. If you are buying it for the interface and the biometrics look for a better product. The app downloads fine but then things start to go sideways. Entering your date of birth could give you carpel tunnel if you are more than 10 years old. You have to swipe right12 times for each year you have lived. Then you must be barefoot to use the scale as it is designed. Apparently they think you only weigh yourself before or after a shower, and do you always take your phone with you when you shower? Finally after you go through all the trouble to set it up it forgets who you are and you must start the set up all over again. I must commend the manufacturer. They contacted me and took my recommendations to heart. I downloaded the new app to my phone several weeks later and everything was fixed. The only fault I find with it now that I wish the display was brighter. My failing eyesight sometimes has trouble reading it; however, the scale readily transfers the weight to my phone.

Why you should buy: Scale is accurate, Bluetooth Sync to the App is easy, and syncs nicely with Google Fit (which can then share with other apps, in my case Chronometer). This was what I wanted from my 'smart' scale (literally just automatic logging). 5 Stars in this department, however this scale is advertised to be a bit more, and I'm rating this based on the full spectrum of features HOWEVER Don't buy this if you're hoping to find out anything about your body composition with the "High-sensitivity sensors and electrodes give you precise body measurements with the latest Bioelectric Impedance Analysis (BIA)." As I've lost weight every graph in the app shows the exact same curve, which to me means that everything is calculated based on weight and the BIA stuff doesn't really do anything. For example, when I started this diet I lost 15lbs in the first week, and from my frequent bathroom trips I can say with confidence that it was mostly water weight. However my % water weight went up. After almost 6 months the graphs all show weight correlation.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. Not a lot of instructions, and you will have to download the manual on their site. Some site issues made it a little bit annoying to navigate, but the app and scale synced easily and I am happy with it.

This scale has exceeded my expectations. I wanted an accurate weight and it does that. But it also give a pretty close reading of BMI, body fat, muscle mass, etc. I have compared it to my readings on a Tanita scale and it’s pretty darn close. I did have to go back and read the directions because I wasn’t getting those readings when I weighed myself...you gotta wait on the scale after it’s weighed you for the rest of the readings to come through...the number blinks again.

This is a nice looking tempered glass scale. I chose white so that I wouldn't be bothered if it got some dust or baby powder on it. Don't waste your time with the app. Just use the scale to see your weight. I tried the app and had to download a second app because the first one won't let you sign up since it's end of life'd by the devs. After getting it working it told me that I had lost 2 lbs since my last weigh in a month ago and that I had ballooned from 16% body fat to a whooping 20%...while clearly I can see in the mirror that I've dropped fat and added muscle. Short version is the BMI calculator is meant for flabby people who ride the elevator and call cutting the grass with a riding mower a "workout". There is no setting for muscular people who weigh more for their height due to muscle being far more dense than fat. If you need an athletic mode scale, hit up Target or Walmart. For about the same price you can get all this info without a stupid app, plus if you aren't flabby you can get a more accurate body fat reading

This is pretty garbage if you get it for the app and all the bells and whistles, which is why I purchased. App doesn’t work and won’t stay connected. Just buy a regular scale for 1/2 the price because that is all this tells you is your weight.

received yesterday, scale won't pair with any of my devices. Search revealed that I'd have have to unpair All other Bluetooth connections to get the scale to pair. That's not going to happen. So far all the scale has done for me is to determine I'm 30 lbs heavier than I'm accustomed to being, which is far more unsettling when no other info is available. A deciding factor in the purchase was that scale and app are supposedly compatible with Samsung health, not seeing that. At this point I'd be happy to see the app it comes with work. I'd be more than happy to update my rank if the manufacturer contacts me and changes my mind
