I've contemplated purchasing a smart scale fort over a year. Almost went for one of the ~$200 big brands on several occasions. Reviews of these are often not great. Even the big dog that rhymes with fume gets some negative remarks. I saw this scale for sub $40, and had a 4.7 rating. Most of the reviews mention seemless app syncing, which is a negative mark with many smart scales. Accuracy also was often noted. I decided to pull the trigger. Firstly, as a scale it is dead accurate. I have a digital Taylor scale that can vary 4 or 5 pounds every time I step on it. It's a top brand scale, and cost about what this smart scale costs. This scale does so much more, too. I can't say that every body measurement is completely accurate, but it is consistent, and shows actual variance in measurements when I drop a pound or two. Plus, it tracks your progress. The consistency makes it a reliable tool. One side note. I spent a day swimming, and got on this scale a bit later in the day, and it told me my feet were too dry, lol. I lotioned them, and it worked fine. I would say for this price point, you can not go wrong.

I’m very happy with this smart scale. It was easy to set up and connected to the app quickly. Idk. I had higher hopes, but this is the first body fat measuring i've owned. It says, I have twenty two point nine percent body fat. But I don't think this is accurate, I think it's much lower. When I look in a mirror I have clearly visible abs, which, in general, only happens when someone's below ten to twelve percent body fat. I was a certified personal trainer, and I spent twenty years on fitness.I know wha t he ll i'm talking about on this. It measures body fat through bioelectrical impedance, which is like those handheld things you can use at some gyms. I used to use them with my clients. They tend to overestimate the body fat you have when you're on a very lower end of it, and underestimate when you're on a very higher end. They're cheap and not the best accuracy but plenty useful for most people most of the time. The scale does measure to the tenth of a pound and matches my other skill that does that. That part looks reliable. As for the durability, their app want you to register the product. When I scan the barcode, it brings me to a website that does not list this particular model. Customer services in hong kong. There is no phone number and it made me download WhatsApp. Which there is currently no response. I guess I'll make this four stars instead of five. But for $35 or whatever i can't imagine the other scales are much better. Now if you're gonna go and spend two hundred on a similar scale, it probably is a lot better.
