Idk. I had higher hopes, but this is the first body fat measuring i've owned. It says, I have twenty two point nine percent body fat. But I don't think this is accurate, I think it's much lower. When I look in a mirror I have clearly visible abs, which, in general, only happens when someone's below ten to twelve percent body fat. I was a certified personal trainer, and I spent twenty years on fitness.I know wha t he ll i'm talking about on this. It measures body fat through bioelectrical impedance, which is like those handheld things you can use at some gyms. I used to use them with my clients. They tend to overestimate the body fat you have when you're on a very lower end of it, and underestimate when you're on a very higher end. They're cheap and not the best accuracy but plenty useful for most people most of the time. The scale does measure to the tenth of a pound and matches my other skill that does that. That part looks reliable. As for the durability, their app want you to register the product. When I scan the barcode, it brings me to a website that does not list this particular model. Customer services in hong kong. There is no phone number and it made me download WhatsApp. Which there is currently no response. I guess I'll make this four stars instead of five. But for $35 or whatever i can't imagine the other scales are much better. Now if you're gonna go and spend two hundred on a similar scale, it probably is a lot better.
