During that time, it will show "disconnected". To reconnect, turn the scale back on and open the app.Q: How do multiple users use the same scale?A: There are 2 ways: (1) Multiple Users with Separate VeSync Accounts. Please note only 5 VeSync accounts can pair with the smart scale at a time. (2) Multiple Users with a Shared VeSync Account. Users who create or log in to a VeSync account can create multiple user profiles within their account. All users can log in to the same account (on their own smartphones) without requiring the other users to log out.Q: How to do firmware update?A: Please follow these simple steps: (1) Turn on your phone Bluetooth. I do really like this scale! I feel like between it and the Hume body pod this one is a much more reasonable price and still really accurate. I actually compared it to the super expensive one at my doctor's office and it's dialed in right like the one in my doctor's office. This scale has excellent features and I find that it is very accurate. One feature that I love is you're able to get different sounds from the scale to determine whether you lost weight, you gained weight, or you have stayed the same. I found out online under its website how to toggle this on. I was happy to say that I got the sound that I lost weight and that did so much for me. It's a great scale. The scale was so much easier to use than I originally had thought. I just simply downloaded the app and within seconds after the scale started I was getting the readings that I needed. Great price for a really good product.

    • Seemed good at first, but….
Ok - this one has fast become a bust. At first it was great. It measured everything fine, app updated like it should…no issues. It even showed me the weather right on the scale which was kinda neat. Then, it just started not syncing properly. At first, I thought I had forgotten to weigh myself but I am a heart transplant patient - I do daily vitals every morning, without fail. So, I started paying attention. It was not syncing on its own regularly. So I started syncing it manually every morning; that would occasionally fail too. Somehow, it still managed to get the data at some point though. Then it just didn’t. And it LOST data. Today for example - the app says my last weigh-in was 7/11, 3 mornings ago. I know it HAD data for the 12th and 13th because I use the data via HealthKit in another app and it was fine two days ago, plus I literally looked at it yesterday. How could the app lose the data out of nowhere like that? And what about the scale? I weighted myself this morning - the 14th - and it would not update. I tried to manually sync to no avail. I finally had to weigh myself with the app open to get a reading into the app. The app always shows “setup” for the scale’s WiFi. Does that mean the scale no longer has access to WiFi? I set it up again and it knows my WiFi unit and password. What’s more, the body fat measurement shows an update in the app but the scale never shows as actually measuring body fat anymore…? And, yes, I set all that up in the app so it should be showing it to me. The heartrate monitor is wrong most days as well. As a heart transplant patient, my heart rate almost never drops below 85bpm. Some mornings, it shows me around 100bpm, others it shows 58bpm (don’t ask why - 58 is just its magic number). Like I said - at first, it was great; now I just no longer trust the product. I’ll see if support can figure this out, but at this point…I’m ready to toss this one and get a more reliable product. ... show more

    • Accurate, good data sync, highly recommend!
I’ve been using this scale for a couple of months and it’s proven to be very accurate and reliable. I briefly tried changing to a Renpho scale with bio electric impedance analysis (bia) technology because I thought that would be more accurate. It wasn’t. There was virtually no difference between the body composition readings on the 2 smart scales. In addition when comparing the weight readings on both scales to another very accurate non-smart scale, this one proved more accurate than the Renpho. I would not let this scale’s lack of bia technology deter you from purchase. From my experience, bia doesn’t seem to do anything substantial. Syncing and connectivity: the only downside to this scale is that it only allows the primary user to sync their data. You can create other profiles and those users can see their data but they can’t sync it to other apps. That said, the data sync and app usability for the primary user works flawlessly and consistently. You can connect this scale to your home WiFi via the VeSync app, and every time you step on the scale your data is automatically synced. I connected this app to both apple health and MyFitnessPal easily. You can also download your historical data to a spreadsheet to show to your doctor. I’m really happy with this scale! ... show more
