I was looking for a press in order to set "nipple rivets" in pants, shorts and jackets that I plan to make out of jean and corduroy materials. I researched all types of tools and arrived at this one. I even reached out to Hobby Trendy prior to ordering. I explained exactly what I had planned to use it for and even sent them videos of the projects I had planned. I was told by my local sewing guru, to choose correct "die sets" when ordering a product. The seller was quick to answer my questions, however, not quite listening to my explanation on the phone or watching the videos I sent regarding the projects I have planned for the future. The press came with a nipple rivet, which worked great when I practiced using it on a sample piece of jean material, but the preferred rivets I purchased from a sewing company, got destroyed. Had I known better that the rivets I want placed on my "memade" jeans wouldn't work in the press, I would have never ordered it. Additionally, there is not enough clearance under the press to fit jeans in order to place rivets in the various locations. Another feature that could have been explained. I am sure it is great for smaller projects, but not what I was hoping for. I reached out to the seller to let them know that I just opened my rivets this past weekend and realized they will not work. The dies and press are brand new, barely touched. Due to the fact that it arrived on March 25th and much past the 30 day return window, there are no exceptions. It cannot be returned. Not the customer service I was hoping for. Looks like I will be selling and purchasing a design from another company. ... show more
