I was worried it would peel after application but it has stayed intact after several weeks of heavy use. I tried everything to repair the huge hole in my seat but nothing lasted until I tried this. I applied when the seat was warm from the sun. I also laid the patch on the hood of the car in the sun for several minutes before applying as the adhesive sticks better when warm. No problems so far. Exceeded my expectation - just measure twice, cut once. Now this is only 1 week post installation so I can't comment on how long the patch will last but it is a near perfect match to my car seat and was easy and intuitive to use. Make sure you are ordering a bit larger than you need so you have wiggle room (better too large than too small) and I'd go seam to seam regardless of how large or small the tear is. (could come back later if it fades or peels - initial review). Clean your material very very well of course prior to install.

Great patch kit! Just make sure you can tuck around seaming if you need to. The adhesive is strong and matched up to my seat almost perfectly. Our tear was from a rough edge on the seatbelt. So easy to use. Trace with a pen, cut it out and stick it. Says there may be an odor. We did not have that.

Had worn leather that was down to the foam on the front passenger seat of my Chevrolet Avalanche. Bought this self adhesive leather patch which matched my seat. I decided to cover a distinct section, not just the worn area in front. I cut out a paper copy of the patch by taping a large piece of paper to the seat and using a pencil to outline the indented area. Cut out the paper copy, verified fit, transferred that onto the backing paper of the leather with a marker, then cut the leather. To install, I peeled back only the top portion of the backing, so the whole thing wouldn't stick all at once... I lined it up perfectly, then pressed it into the seam until I was satisfied it was just right. Then I slowly peeled back a little more backing, smoothing it down each time, until I had it all attached. Pressed it all firmly onto the seat and let it sit for 24 hrs. Looks better than I thought it would, almost seamless, definitely can't tell it's a patch unless you know. Sticking well on the edges now, time will tell if the edges stay down. Working perfectly. It's thick enough to be durable, but still able to conform to the seat ridges. The leather itself should outlast the truck, my bet.

I’m really impressed with the Leather Repair Patch, Breathable Perforated Self Adhesive Repair Patch. It’s easy to apply and the results are fantastic. The patch blends in so well with my leather seat that you can’t tell there was ever a repair. A few tips I found helpful: start by cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol to remove oils and dust for a strong bond. After placing the patch, use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm it up gently. The heat helps the adhesive set firmly and creates a more secure, long-lasting fix. The breathable perforated design is a nice touch, making the repair look natural and comfortable against the skin of the leather. Overall, a good product that delivers a seamless repair and extends the life of my car seat.

Garbage. Will be returning. Wasted enough to know this isn’t a solution. You can see the patch which looks obnoxious , it moves around and doesn’t stick, and it peeled up the leather color from underneath so now I have strips of light black on my seat. Off to buy leather restore since this ruined my seat. If you already have a crappy car and seats maybe you won’t care but I don’t and now I have to spend more to repair what this did.

This is excellent quality, the color (light gray) matched very well, and it wad easy to cut and work with. It adhered to my driver and front passenger car seats beautifully. I just covered them today, so I’ll see how well they last over time.

HOWEVER, 9 out of the 10, the leaves were not secure, and one, the leaves were completely off. I’m going to hot glue them back on. I’m hoping that will fix it. I would return them, but I got them at such a good price, I’ll keep them and hope the hot glue holds the stems back on.
