I used this to patch a few scratches I had on my hot tub cover. 1. I cleaned the area first 2.mesured and cut the patches. 3. after I rolled them out I found they wanted to roll back up so I placed them on the heater vent for a while to make them more pliable. 4. I pealed the backing and rubbed them onto the surface several times. after two weeks they seem to work great. I hope they make through the summer heat.

I purchased this as my kids took a piece of the hand rest in the back seat. The color wasn't a perfect match but I still went ahead and took like 45 minutes cutting the item to make the repair look OK. The next day when I looked back all the tape was peeling off. I thought maybe it need a day of warm weather to "seal" and fully attach, but no. It keeps coming off. Waisted my money and time on this item. I don't recommend it.

I applied this product to repair a lether(ette) recliner. The patch lasted less than a week and strarted coming off and getting caught in my shoes. I expected this to last longer than that? I will not use that again./
