I was very surprised by the quality of this door. I bought a cheaper one with a hard plastic door and my car got his paw stuck in it. The harder he tried to pull out of it the harder the door pinched his paw. This one has a nice clear quality flap with a magnetic strip on the bottom. The frame is a better quality as well. The one with the hard door was loud when the door slapped. This one is silent when he goes in and out and there's no way to pinch paws. The locking device on the one with the hard for was impossible to move as well. This one has a separate hard cover for that snaps into place and looks great. I highly highly recommend this door over the other only slightly cheaper one. The quality is night and day as well. Very pleased with this purchase. Spend the extra few bucks and you'll be glad you did.

No problems with the door during set up. One of my dogs quickly adjusted while the other is a bit scared to try it (He didn't have a problem when there was a hole in the door lol) One thing I should mention is that for the door height, the instructions say that it should be the length between the floor and the dog's stomach, X from now on, this seemed a little high for my dogs so the final height for me was X-10cm. I'm not implying that the the instructions were wrong or misleading, but every dog is different so you don't have to follow it to a t I'll update after a while but no problems so far

I purchased this product, because it was the cheapest one on Amazon at the time. I would not recommend you use this product on an exterior door. It’s fairly flimsy. You would have to completely disassemble it to replace the flap. installation is easy. You will need a saw and drill.

Just what I needed. Was the only one I found that could actually go down to zero between inside and outside piece (only needed 1/4 inch). The printed instructions did not mention that you need to cut the bolts to the size needed for your thickness. That was a little difficult to not mess up the threads. The locking cover is very difficult to remove.

Compared with other doors I have purchased in the past, this product is sub par at best. The plastic is flimsy. The door shut feature is not secure. This is designed for large dogs. It will not contain even a well behaved large dog that is accustomed to dog doors. a simple swipe of the paw and the swinging door came detached and a magnet fell off. Spend more and get a better product. I am outside of my return window by 2 weeks, 30 days is not long enough.

Easy to install in our bedroom door. Absolutely perfect for our two cats…and us…this allows the cats to come and go quietly while keeping the bedroom door closed for better temperature control. I don’t have to get out of bed a half-dozen times a night anymore to let them in/out. Woohoo!!!

For years my wife (and occasionally me) had to open/close our screen door every time our cats wanted to go out on our deck. Then they got smart and "clawed" the screening to open the door. Over years the screening got ripped and replaced. There had to be a better way then us being the "screen door greeter"! Never thought about searching for cat/dog opening for screen doors, until I did and found "Hakuna Pets Essential Pet Door for Screens Doors" What a find!! Easy to install. comes with long screws to fit various widths. I went and bought the needed size instead of trying to break off the extra portion. Took a few days for the cats to see what they had to do, but once they knew the process, they can come and go as they please! Then at night, we are sure to cover the opening with the included cover, so they don't sneak out for the evening!! Highly recommend this is you want to save yourself opening/closing actions!
