Aromatherapy, simply mist, and colorful night light if desired. You can set the color you want of the rose there are 7 different colors. The mist comes out of the center of the rose. There is a sticker on the outside pointing to the maximum fill line. You are instructed not to pour water down where the mist comes out. You have to pour the water on the side of the rose. If you add oil... I'd suggest adding it to your water before putting it in the diffuser. The outside is a clear plastic type of material. You will need an outlet to plug this item into. The mist comes out in a nice plume. You can choose how long it functions as a mister less hours or more hours. I have trouble knowing which setting is what. It works well but you kind of have to play with the buttons to figure it out. I would of liked some instructions on how to use the buttons that were a bit more thorough. I also would of liked a little measuring tool for the water so I could just fill it up and pour it in via their measuring device but they do not include that. It is a lot prettier than I expected. I may have to buy some for gifts. It does not come with essential oils so you will need your own. To make the light stay on a color you get it to where the light cycles then you hold the button in to freeze it to the color you want. This was figured out by trial and error. What it lacks in ease to use it makes up for in beauty and functionality. Make sure to read the box.

This is an essential oil or aromatherapy diffuser and humidifier, made in China. It comes packaged in a nice box, with full-color pictures of the diffuser. This would certainly be suitable for a gift. This diffuser looks better than it feels. When I looked at the pictures, this looked like a really nice, pretty, high-end diffuser. But when I took it out of the box, both the outside of the diffuser and the inside flower felt like disappointingly cheap plastic to me. This diffuser is still very nice LOOKING ... but be careful and don't scratch or break the plastic, or the diffuser will look awful or be ruined. I'm glad this unit automatically turns "off" when it runs out of water. That way, I don't have to watch it every minute of the day ... or night, and don't have to worry about it trying to run, and damaging itself, without water. For me, this is a requirement for diffusers. I've also come to learn that you should definitely not overfill these aromatherapy diffusers ... and that some diffusers don't have clear indicators as to how "full" is "too full." This diffuser has a very clear line ... right on the outside of the bowl ... as to the "Max" water level for this unit. The instructions say to use the included measuring cup to fill the diffuser, but there was no measuring cup included in my package. There are two simple buttons on the side of the diffuser to control: 1-the light; and 2-the spray (mist). There is not a remote control, so no batteries to have to mess around with. There were a set of instructions included with the diffuser with very small print, painfully difficult to read and follow. But, since there are only 2 buttons, it won't take you long to figure out which button causes which function to happen. Overall, this is a beautiful LOOKING, cheap FEELING diffuser, simple to operate, and positively lovely to watch.

We thoroughly enjoy this aromatizing device thanks to its design and a large transfer area for the heated oils to mingle with the air in the room. The device itself has a humidification system, called a passive system. This is where the amount of transfer into the air isn't overwhelming, or maybe I just don't know what to look for. It is as pretty as it looks in all the pictures and it does a super job of taking care of business. The color changes are a nice touch, adding to the effect of a creative approach to adding vaporizers to the air, which, it seems this year we could all use a lot more eucalyptus, green teas, peppermints and anything else we can find to make winter a delightful excuse to hide in bed and turn it on high! Admittedly, no humidifier is easy to refill with water, and this one is a bit more difficult, so I took off a star to flag out the refill issue. However, the end result is still worth having something to enjoy on a cold winter night.

This rose diffuser/lamp is so nice! I like that it has both a colorful lighting function, and just a white light function. It has a soft light which adds to its calming affect. I would've liked if there was a remote to choose a color though, because on the multicolor function, it just cycles through the colors.

This is a good sized diffuser. It is very easy to operate. First, remove the plastic rose, and fill with cool water to the MAX fill line. Next, add several drops of your essential oils. I chose orange and clove for a Fall scent. Place the plastic rose back in the bowl and you're ready to go. Switch it on and it lights up. There are two different modes, one is just the light and the other is light and mist. The different colors very pretty, muted colors. You can see the mist coming out the top of the flower. It automatically turns off when the water is empty. I had mine on for 12 hours, and it didn't run out of water, so it's pretty efficient. I didn't get much of a scent, but I was pretty conservative with my oils, and they were a smidge "aged." The bowl is very easy to clean, just remove the flower and wipe the inside with a damp cloth. The opening is big enough to fit your hand comfortably. So, overall, I really like this little guy. It is easy to use, very pretty to look at, and I think it will put out a nice background fragrance, once I invest in new oils.

This diffuser is a great upgrade from what came with an essential oil starter kit! It's pretty even when it isn't running. The color range is a great accent in a dimmed room. Pink lighting is my favorite. More importantly, the scent circulates widely and fills the air without being overpowering. The power cord matches the base.
