Two of my 3 plants came damaged and all 3 had severely dry soil. Luckily the company, Costa Farms, sent me 3 more plants pretty quickly ( to CA.) ..they come from Florida.. and they arrived perfectly! Good plants, easy to grow. I was nervous about buying online but read the reviews & felt it was a safe gamble. I’m glad I did, all 4 plants came in & were healthy. One of them did kind of fall out/was crooked during shipping but was able to level it out when repotting. Everything was great, my only complaint would be the length of time to get them in. I was under the impression it would be like 2 days but it took over a week. I was worried when I got the “item shipped” notification & the eta for delivery was a week away. I wasn’t sure if they’d survive a week in a box in FL heat. But I was pleasantly surprised when they came in a day earlier than expected in good health! Will probably buy more soon! ... show more

    • Plants for Pets does not mean plants are pet safe

These are beautiful plants. Unfortunately, three of them had "health" issues. Brown spots, black spots, and falling leaves. I waited to make sure it was not just shock from shipping and, as they all got worse, I'm now working on getting them healthy again. They are still beautiful but they need a bit of help. Update: One plant has died, despite all my efforts to save it. Another is struggling to survive but I'm hoping our change in weather will help with this. Having tropical plants in an apartment with low-light in Oregon isn't exactly the best match and not what I would have chosen, but it was a mystery box, so again, not complaining, just informing. The golden pathos seems to be coming around and the rubber plant is hanging in there. Just a note: The description talks about plants for pets. This does not mean that the plants you receive will not be toxic to pets. Instead, they support plants for pets to help shelter dogs find homes. This is not a complaint. But if you have pets, just don't assume the plants you receive will be non-toxic. ... show more

Much bigger than I expected :) They also arrived in the middle of a state wide ‘excessive heat warning’ and they were still in perfect shape. Photo is taken same day the plants arrived, right after I repotted them. I would but from here again with no hesitation. Beautiful plants!!

    • Not Pet Friendly Plants!

I am pleased with my purchase despite getting 3 of 4 plants that are toxic to my cat. These are small enough to go in hanging pots around the house, out of kitty-reach. I do wish I had realized that the description didn’t include anything about toxicity, but buyer beware. That’s on me. The packaging was excellent and the plants came in good condition. The shipping was pleasantly enough delayed so the plants wouldn’t die in transit, because my area had a recent cold snap. Overall content, but I’ll shop more carefully next time for pet safe plants. ... show more

What made me order these plants was because other people had said they came as a nice size plant and I would definitely agree with that. They are worth the money if you are just looking at size. I like the variety of plants ok but I wasn't overly impressed by it if that makes sense. The one I was most excited about was the imperial green philidondron but unfortunately it is the one with the most noticeable damage. Doesn't look like it was due to packaging or shipping at all though. The plants were beautifully wrapped and protected each with their own small pole to make sure they didn't get squished. Pictured is all the plants I received plus a couple pictures of some imperfections on the plants. Also I looked at the bottom of the pot and it looks like there is a tiny peak of root but nothing overwhelming so again I would assume they are nice healthy plants that have been well cared for. Soil looks nice. I will update if anything changes over the next 14 days. Overall I'm happy though I wish the philidondron was not injured because I love philidondrons and would like to collect all that I can. ... show more
