Prior to discovering lash princess, I would spend $22 on benefit bad gal. Never again! Lash princess does the trick and for much less money, especially since you should be switching out your mascara every 3 months. Do the math, 4 tubes of mascara a year, benefit $88 a year, lash princess $20! I have now been using this mascara brand for over 2 years. Make the switch, you won't regret it! I purchased this bundle a few months ago because it was a good deal. I was unfamiliar with this brand and I’m glad I tried it. My makeup bag consists of many slim tubed (some pricey) mascaras listed as lengthening and voluminous. I found myself settling for whatever length and volume I can coax out of them. I’m satisfied with length if I can’t have volume. I have found most mascaras that claim volume usually make my lashes look clumpy and my lashes stick together. Not this mascara! First, the wand itself is long and so is the brush inside. The tube is very cute, a little chunky and has a nice rubberized grip on the end that actually helps me control the wand. I’m constantly dropping the slimmer tubes and have trashed many a mascara from dropping them on hotel floors, public restrooms and the occasional roll off the table mishap. I’ve only used one of these Lash Princess tubes (false lash effect) and I am so impressed! I have sparse upper lashes but my lashes look long and separated. It really does mimic false lashes and makes my lashes look long. Especially my bottom lashes. I have to be careful to just lightly touch my bottom lashes with this mascara wand or it gives me this unbelievable (unnatural) bottom lash look that is much longer and thicker than my sparse upper lashes. I will be trying out the additional tubes in this bundle pack so I can add to my review in the next few months. Or I may get my nieces to help me test the rest of them out so that I can update this review sooner. Will buy again! ... show more

    • My new favorite mascara brand
I started using essence brand mascara a couple of years ago and it quickly became my go-to brand of mascara! It really helps my lashes to stand out and doesn't become clumpy. There's more than one style or shape lash applicator in this set including a false lash effect style and includes both waterproof and non-waterproof mascaras in this set. I also like that the product is cruelty free and petroleum free. Its a great price as well. The only downside is that some smudging or smearing can happen even with the waterproof variety. I also gave the princess lash variety to both of my sisters as a Christmas stocking stuffer so they could try it as well. ... show more

I had to start using a vegan based mascara after the brand I was previously using changed formulas and I ended up with a bad allergic reaction to it. I went through the expensive brands that would smear and would not give me the volume I was looking for. I started using essence about a year ago and I’ve been hooked. I love watching Bailey Sarian's makeup videos, and this is the mascara that she almost always uses. I heard rave reviews about it, and for the price, I figured I had nothing to lose. This mascara is so good I tossed every other mascara I had, including a very well-known, $20+ brand. Lash Princess outperforms them all. I've had zero issues with fallout, almost no smudging with any of the four in the pack (a quick coat of Duraline fixed that), and lashes that look so good I've been accused of wearing falsies. I've had to comb my lashes a few times after applying, but that's mainly due to my being clumsy and impatient, and partly because some of my lashes grow a little wonky. Also, it does take a little extra time to remove, but I am 100% okay with that. Soak a cotton pad with eye makeup remover, hold it on your eye for 30-60 seconds, wipe off. Easy-peasey. No mascara this inexpensive should be this good, yet here we are. It's too affordable to not try it. ... show more
