  • The PERFECT nursery chair!
Color: Grey Style: Classic
Why I LOVE it? This the most perfect nursery chair. I have searched countlessly for the most perfect nursery chair – one that wasn't too big (our nursery isn't that big of a space) and specifically a recliner. I decided on this chair because the cost was the same as your name brand nursery recliner chair... but it has massage functionality, the side pockets (great for holding books), and cup holders (no brainer if you ask me). The cup holders alone were awesome to put empty baby bottles or phone while you are rocking and bonding with your baby. This is my third baby and I so wish I had this chair for all pregnancies/post-delivery because of all the conveniences. AND the rocking motion is so effortless. Chair Quality: #1 The Fabric – I couldn't decide between the white leather or the gray fabric. Ultimately, I went with the gray fabric because I read reviews that the white chairs would get stains that wouldn't come off. I have seen chairs with the same white leather material that had that issue and its most likely came from clothes ink getting on it. I didn't want to spend this much on a chair for it to look stained or even have future peeling. I went with the gray fabric and the color is not only beautiful in review pictures but it’s even more beautiful in person. I'm even returning a throw pillow I purchased for it because the chair looks so nice by itself. The fabric seems very durable and because of the color (light/medium grey) I know it will look so nice and hide everything (future spills – to be expected with 3 kiddos). #2 The Chair Foam – I literally said, “Wow!” when I took one of the chair parts out of the box because of the comfortable density (and color). It is a happy medium in firmness. Not too soft, not too hard… literally perfect. The lumbar support is also there and my preggo body loves it right now. Massage Function: This chair is systematic vibrations throughout the whole chair that can get pretty strong and I love it. It's NOT a shiatsu massage chair with the rollers – those shiatsu massage chairs are up there in price; this will do the trick to give you the nice relaxation you need. Chair Size: I am 5'2'' and 115lbs (not pregnant) and currently 140lbs (pregnant). I can currently fit myself and my 5-year-old side by side on the chair (not on my lap but by my side). My husband is 6'2" 200lbs and he didn't complain about the size at all – he said it was very relaxing. Again, keep in mind that we didn't want the obnoxiously big recliner chair, but one that would fit in our small nursery space. It's perfect! Delivery: Delivery was great. The chair arrived in two boxes and one did appear to have been a little beat up. However, the chair was in pieces to be assembled and each piece was individually wrapped nice and neat in a bag as well as separated with cardboard sheets to keep the fabric looking beautiful with no flaws. Installing Tips: My petite pregnant self couldn’t wait for the hubby to get home to install and it was easy to put together with minor setbacks. The sides of the chair slid into the base of the chair, and then you slide the back of the chair into the base after. The hardest part was installing the back of the chair, so here is what I did… I knelt on the base of the chair (facing back of chair) holding the back of in place. I then pressed firmly down on a top corner until I heard a click on the chair and proceeded to do the same thing to the other top corner side. When I stood behind it trying to push the back of the chair down, it was extremely difficult for me to push into place and lock it in. Cons: Because this chair can’t be absolutely perfect… I did notice that when I had the massage function on there was rattling underneath it when in the recline position. I did some investigation and there is a zipper under the recliner portion. I simply safety pinned the zipper tab onto the fabric and voila it’s fixed… no more rattling! When you have the massage function also on with items in the cub holder, it makes the items rattle slightly which could get a little annoying. Also, vibration function is a bit loud. I don’t anticipate this being a problem in the nursery because we will be using a noise machine anyway to block out unwanted noise for the baby. Lastly, people mentioned when reclining all the way the back doesn’t really stay put. It’s true for the most part, but it’s not going to forcefully push you back up, but instead, gradually push you up over time if that makes sense. I did notice that when I scooted my toosh back all the way and then pushed the recliner all the way back it did stay down pretty well. All and all, I couldn’t recommend this chair more. I absolutely LOVE it! I am optimistic that it will hold up for many years! Happy happy happy! ... show more

  • A little difficult to slide arms into base receptacles
Color: Grey Style: Classic
I read positive and negative review. The massage is just an annoying buzz. They could delete that and it wouldn’t matter. The chairs (we bought 2) are comfortable, medium duty, medium size and the upholstery seems to be of decent microfiber quality. For the price, I think they are a decent value. No issues there. I scotchguarded them and we are happy with them. If I get 3 years out of them, I will call it a win. ... show more

  • Reasons why you would want to purchase something from AECOJOY
Color: Pu Leather/Brown Style: Classic
RE: AECOJOY Purchase of Esright Massage Recliner Chair Heated PU Leather Ergonomic Lounge 360 Degree Purchased From AECOJOY, a third-party vendor working with Amazon. You have no idea how much someone impacts your life until later. They are the unsung heroes who live every day doing the right thing to help others. And they do, help others. Very unassuming, very disarming, just instilling a sense that I am not alone. I purchased the recliner cited above. When it arrived, the chair’s heat and vibrations didn’t work. I refreshed the batteries, etc., but no luck. I wrote to AECOJOY asking to process a refund. The response I received from Carrie was cordial and respectful. Her email asked if the remote turned on at all. It had not. Then she asked if I would be willing to try a new remote that she will mail to me. I was not interested in testing out stuff on the chair. It arrived dead and to my way of thinking, nothing will make it better. Shortly after sending the response above, Carrie responded asking if I would consider a price drop of $50 refund. I agreed for several reasons. Carrie was consistent and conciliatory, and she refused to give up. She conveyed that there is always a way to solve problems where everyone comes out a winner. The most important reason to me was that the chair is very high quality which was unexpected considering the $300 sale price. However, I was concerned that if this solution did not work, I would be outside of the acceptable range of Amazon. By Day 30, if you have not solved an issue or requested a refund, then you will be sad. That line in the sand is deeply entrenched in Amazon’s corporate culture. Walmart, if it doesn’t work, here is another one. Nordstrom is synonymous with customer service in a way no other organization or company has accomplished. Nordstrom's exceptional customer service comes primarily as a result of two main components, first is their attention to detail when it comes to the customer experience and second, the level to which they empower their employees. These two factors created an unstoppable customer service engine that continues to create stories that turn into legends in today’s world. From the very first AECOJOY email response on February 18th, I was reassured by the unspoken commitment to superior customer care. Both Carrie and Peter were civil and their emails were supportive. That may sound strange in today’s climate, but it was reassuring. I believe that both Carrie and Peter are a part of a team of experts all working to resolve a customer issue. The chair was up and running except that it did not recline automatically. You have to stay still and put all your weight on the recliner to keep it reclined. At 103 pounds, I didn’t have the weight to hold the chair in a recline position. Other recliners, also manual, usually have three lock points. First is the original sitting position, then a middle lock point where you are halfway reclined, and finally, a lock in the complete recline position. This recliner does not have the standard lock points as do others. So I wrote back and asked for a refund and Peter sent me a response that they would give another price break so that I would be able to sell it and buy another recliner. Carrie also pointed out it would costly for me to return it than to sell locally. Between the two, I felt that I was dealing with a company that empowers employees to be problem solvers. A company that believes in their products and staff who share that attitude with clients, it is rare nowadays. I would hands down give the Customer Care Award to AECOJOY and their dedicated team. • It works for my purposes, nice chair, 1 star less for the frustration of shipping
Color: Grey Style: Classic
I work from home and have to keep my feet up most of the time. So I was looking for a chair that would have a footrest that would come up without having to recline the chair a great deal. This fit the bill, as there is separate footrest ring on the side of the seat that brings up the footrest, and the back rest barely goes back more than it is when the footrest is down. I also needed the chair to either have casters to roll or to swivel, so that I could sit in it and then bring out the keyboard drawer from the desk, and be able to sit close enough to the desk that I could see the large monitor screens. The office chairs with casters and footrests, didn't look like they would be study and comfortable for 12+ hrs a day of sitting and long term use by a heavy person. This chair swivels, and although it's a bit tight to get my feet out from btwn the desk and the footrest, once I had it up and then put it down again, I can make it work. To explain this, it takes more force to close it than I can do with my legs, so I always have to get out of it and then push the footrest down with my hand. The statement from others, that it does take some force to push the footrest down, is true, plus I have little space to work with, since the desk is right in front of me. This chair was a little more than I would have rather spent and it has features like 8 vibrating massage node with heat that I will never use, I've also never even reclined the back rest so far. The rocking is more annoying for my purposes but would normally be nice in a living room or nursey recliner. I did a lot of research, and spend some time debating what I absolutely needed and what I found available this recliner fit the bill better than any other I found. It is a nice recliner, it is comfortable, and it should last a long time. My husband had no problem with the weight of the boxes, getting the pieces in my office or assembing the back and arms to the seat base. The seat is roomy, the chair feels sturdy but is probably best for shorter people, I'm only 5 foot. My biggest disappointment was with the shipping. I ordered the chair on July 10th and was quoted it would arrive 7/14 to 7/16. Every day, when I checked the tracking on Fedex, the arrival date was moved back a day. My Amazon order also showed the arrival date moved to 7/19 and later 7/21. At COB Friday 7/16, I checked to find that it has only been picked up that day and had only traveled 14 miles down I-10 from Ontario to Bloomington, CA. Since the estimate arrival date had just been changed then to 7/21, and I no way to know if the arrival date would continue to be moved forward each day the next week, as it had that week, I wrote the vendor. I received a sort of mangled worded email the next day that seemed to indicate I should give it another 3 days. So I did and the recliner was received before COB on Monday, 7/19. ... show more

  • Great Theater Chair - Very Comfortable
Color: Pu Leather/Black Style: Classic
I'm writing this to answer a lot of the basic questions and cons i see in most reviews. I didn't buy these for elderly people, 300lb + people, or extremely skinny, tall, or other irregular shaped people. I am 5'10 240lbs, size 38 jeans. I have roughly 2-3 inches on both sides of me when i sit in this chair. My wife is 180lbs 5'6 and has no problem reclining in the chair nor putting the foot rest back in it's place, and she is extremely comfortable while reclining in any position. You -can- just use the heat without the massage, you just have to click it to normal mode massage, then click on each body part individually to turn them all off. I can sit with my legs crossed in the chair while reclined and in any other comfortable position I desire without feeling the stress of keeping the chair reclined. I also can comfortable 'half-way' recline, this is not a 100% or straight up chair as others have described. Again i am 5'10 240lbs, not a small dude. I bought one to try out, used it to watch LOTR 1 and a few other movies and never once was uncomfortable over the course of a couple of weeks. I invited some friends over who all sat in the chair a few times for 30 minutes or so each and every single one loved it. One person was 5'4 240lbs and had no complaints. It is -slightly- smaller than a full size recliner, but mainly just in height, not sitting width. The headrest is extremely pillowy and comfortable. I had zero issues putting all 4 together, no quality issues either. I now have 4 of these in a mancave/garage/theater room so they are not going to get daily use but so far have held up great. Again i am not running into my house and diving into the chair with my full weight, i am just using them to sit down and arrange myself in whatever position i desire while sipping adult beverages and watching movies. These are cheap price chairs, but under casual use i think they will last an extremely long time. I do not plan to use the rocking motion to stand on them and surf, nor do i plan to spin them around as fast as they can go. If you are hard on furniture, want to throw yourself at a chair when you get off work, or use your chairs as a jungle gym, these may not be for you. If you want a budget friendly comfortable chair for average use, then this thing is an extreme hit. Send me any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them. ... show more

  • Supportive, Sturdy, and Super comfy!
I am pleased with my purchase. I bought it for reading and for working from my laptop. I did extensive research on every kind of recliner possible, since buying online was risky. Hopefully my review might answer some questions I still had when buying this chair: *Side note I am 5'8" and 130 lbs., to give reference. I have had the chair for 3 days.* Delivery: It comes in two boxes. For me, the base came first and the very next day the rest of the chair arrived. Assembly: I struggled my way through getting the pieces that connect together to line up - but I think that was on me. It also took me a minute to find which plug goes where. But no big deal. Once I was done, I found the instructions that they sent, which probably would have helped! Comfort: The seat is firm (you don't just immediately sink into it) but very comfortable! Similar to firm memory foam. The armrests are padded and very nice. The pulley for footrest is easy to pull. You pull it once, then push to recline. The chair does not "lock" in place at a certain angle - so sometimes I find myself slowly coming up from laying position. My feet hang off the end of the footrest, which doesn't bother me. I do wish the headrest was a little bigger, to support my head and neck a little more. I have to readjust to keep comfortable when reading. But put a little pillow behind your head and it puts it in the perfect position for reading. I love the rotating and rocking features. When reclining, you cannot rock (which is pretty standard for most recliners). Accessories: My phone fits into the cup holders, my water bottle also fits in them so it's awesome! The side pockets fit my kindle, laptop, and journal/notebook. I haven't really found a use for the front pockets yet. Remote would fit. The material I chose was the PU leather, brown. Very happy with the choice! It is soft and does not stick to my skin when I sit in it. It is not shiny and appears to be durable. Massager/Heat: The heat only works when the massage option is on. The heat option is very light, it either doesn't get super warm or it takes a while to warm up. The massage option was more effective than I thought! It is vibration, not kneading. It has various massage options, location options, a timer, and two intensity options. It is very relaxing. It is a bit loud when on - I have it in a bedroom upstairs and I can hear it vibrating from downstairs (a slight sound). Overall, I am happy with my purchase - for buying furniture online with no trying it out before hand, I say it's a win! ... show more

  • Easy Assembly, Comfortable, a Few Cons. Adjust Your Expectations.
Color: Coffee Style: Modern
I have never ordered a chair online, so was hesitant to do so. Without trying it out at a furniture store I had to depend on the reviews. The problem with that was if someone was unhappy they posted it, but if people were happy, they tended just to do stars and no comments. So, let me go over my thoughts: Pros: Unlike some people that complained about problems assembling the chair, we had no issues whatsoever. In fact I anticipated some issues based on the reviews but they never developed. Assembly took about 10 minutes, all the pieces slid together quickly, and the electrical hookup was a snap. I had previously had a oversized recliner with an electronic footrest. I grew to dislike it because it was so slow going down. This chair is just a simple push down with your legs and up you get. Unlike some reviews I did not find it tough to push it down at all. The chair is comfortable, and very supportive. If you have had an old recliner, or an oversized one it will take a little time to get used to. When I first sat in it, I felt it was 'stiff', but I was comparing it to a 20 year recliner. After a month, it's very comfortable, and my body has adjusted to the firmness and I prefer it. The chair rocks easily, and spins around quickly. It seems to be well built. Cons/Adjustments: If you are used to an oversized recliner, it will be an adjustment sitting in one this size. It's much smaller widthwise, and my small pup would sit with me easily in the old chair, but there's no room in this one. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs. The chair fits me like a glove. If you're taller and heavier, I'd suggest spending more and getting a larger chair. The massage/heat is what you'd expect for a chair in this price range, i.e., you know it's vibrating but if you're looking for massage quality vibration, you won't get it. Same with the heat. It's nice though, but don't expect it to be fantastic. The control to open the footrest is way different. It's on the inside arm on the right side, and it sits down a ways beneath the cushion you're sitting on. So, unlike most chairs that have a latch/pull on the outside of the armrests, this one is inside, and it's a pull-rope style, not a latch. You need to reach into the gap between the armrest and the seating cushion to get at it. It's not hard, it's just awkward, and it takes getting used to. Also, if you use a seating cover (which I do), you have to pull that back a little to get at the pull mechanism. The two cup holders are not big enough to hold bigger cups. They seemed to be sized for glass/plastic drinking cup sizes, and cannot accommodate the hot/cold covered ones we all use now. Overall, for the price point, it's a nice chair. Just don't expect it to compare to something that costs much more. It seems well built to last, but we'll see, and I'll update if I run into any issues in the next 12 mos. or so. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, and comfortable!
Color: Grey Style: Classic
***2nd edit: After contacting the company, since I have a warranty on this chair, they agreed to send me a replacement chair bottom. I had to pull the back and arms off the old bottom and attach them to the new bottom. I'm now again able to put my feet up, this new bottom feels better than the last one did, the pull doesn't feel like it's going to give out...I received great customer service and I appreciate the fix for my chair. I hope this fix lasts longer than 6 months. **Edit: I've now had this chair for 6 months and originally agave it 5 stars....I'm downgrading that because I paid nearly $350 for this chair and 6 months later the pull that puts the legs up pulled clean off. I'm not even rough with it...now I can't put my feet up at all. This chair did arrive in 2 boxes, and I freaked for a few seconds when I realized there were no instructions included! However, just looking at the pieces for a few seconds I was able to figure out how to assemble it, and while I had minimal difficulty lining up the pieces to slide together (no screws or tools needed!) it was extremely easy to assemble this chair by myself. I'm a heavy set woman, about 5'4" and about 280ish....with rather thick thighs....I don't really have space on the sides of my legs, but this chair is perfectly sized for my body, and it's super comfy! The only real downside is that if I decide to lay back I have to lay all the way back otherwise the back pushes me forward. Most of the time I just want my legs up without reclining back, but sometimes I'd like to recline back without having to lay all the way back...but honestly this is still an amazing chair and I'm soooo glad I bought it! One thing to think about is how to put your legs back down....I've found it easier to kind of rock backward while pushing my feet down, otherwise it doesn't really want to close fully. I did read a review stating that the cup holders were too small...they're perfectly sized for my drinks....and I love putting my remote and my phone in one cup holder and keep my drink in the other. ... show more
