It was in two boxes, they were not that heavy. At first it was kind of strange to follow the instructions so I saw one of the videos that are attached in the item description and I understood how it was supposed to be done,even though it was for a different model than mine. The fabric is soft to touch, seems like some type of leather. I was able to assamble it by myself, I am a 51 short woman. It doesn't have a super thick cushion but if you need something more soft you can add a memory foam cover for sleeping, for those who like firm mattress it would be fine. The chair looks cheaply made, but what else would be expected from something made in China! BTW, had I known that, I would never have bought it. Not leather but cheap "pleather!" The stickers ID'ing the parts are placed on areas in view when chair is together. Picture shows result of trying to remove it. Cushions are not memory foam, are hard and uncomfortable. Shipping was terrible but as always the service expected from FEDEX. Seller offered $30 credit ( not close to what I paid for shipping) which I still haven't received. Buyer beware. You have been warned. I DO NOT recommend this product at all!! I would also be cautious about buying from this seller. If I could give a minus review, I would!!! ... show more

This chair is not comfortable to sit on or sleep on. You can feel a metal bar under your legs while sitting in the chair, and under your thighs when laying down.

The order came in two boxes, the first box came the first day, and the second came the following day. I messaged the company and they gave me the tracking number for the second package.
