Very nice unit for the beginner barista! Easy to use with preprogrammed settings. The onboard grinder is very convenient and the milk steamer does a great job and heats in relatively quickly. The price point is affordable without making a huge $$$ investment should one lose interest.

A pretty good espresso machine. It's very easy to use, but has a couple of quirks that prevent me from giving it five stars--I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Good things about it: very easy to set up, very easy to program ( it's like the ones you sometimes find in hotel breakfast areas--punch a couple of buttons and the machine does the rest), and the coffee quality is excellent. Drawbacks are that the espresso coffee holder is very difficult to put into its proper place in order to get your espresso ( and then emptying the used coffee grounds is also difficult) and the steam wand always squirts some ( maybe a tablespoon full) water before squirting the steam. I have a Breville at my other home, which is a bit more work but provides a quality cup of cappuccino every morning. This Mooye is much less expensive and the outcome is just as good. It just has those two quirks that make the prep and the cleanup more difficult. Overall, an excellent buy!

Although this machine is slightly complicated to learn, once you do, it becomes quite instinctive. I have used the machine for two weeks now and I am very pleased with the espresso and cappuccino it makes. The cost was reasonable and it makes my office at the university just a little more welcoming.

It isn’t bad for what it does. Not a true touchscreen like it advertises, but more like a microwave touchscreen which is just inductive touchpad, with a led backlit picture on it. The steamer is ok, I’ve got it set up and it does steam milk well, but my main gripe is the “portafilter” that isn’t a real portafilter and the plastic tamper that comes with it. Portafilters are what they say they are, a filter, and I’ve noticed that once I pulled shots from this thing, the puck that’s supposed to form wasn’t a puck but more of a soup, meaning it isn’t a true filter like an espresso machine usually has. This is just a glorified French press for coffee. Grounds would pour into the shot if you tried to pull double. I will give it a few stars because of the size, the water tank that’s on it, and the adjustable coffee grinder, but truly it’s just a keurig with extra steps. I will be returning the unit, and finding one with a proper portafilter.

I’ve only been using this machine for a few days, and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the quality of the coffee and espresso it produces. I’m using high-quality coffee beans, but the Americano and Espresso 1 both taste almost exactly the same—very weak and lacking flavor. The Americano produces almost two full cups, which is far more than I would expect. The Espresso 1 doesn’t taste like espresso at all; it tastes more like regular coffee, and the amount it produces is so large that it actually overflows my espresso cup. I expected much better quality, especially when using good coffee beans. At this point, I regret purchasing it. I wish I hadn’t thrown away the box because I would have returned it. Very disappointing and definitely not what I expected from this machine based on other reviews.
