I purchased this espresso machine a month ago so far so good, I have nothing bad to say about it small and sturdy simple to use! I am happy with the thickness of the espresso I just need to purchase smaller cups since regular cups are a bit of big for this machine.

I had a bit of a rough start with this Espresso Machine as the first one I received had a defective piece. However, the customer service team at ICUIRE went above and beyond to make things right. They quickly sent me a new machine and it has been working perfectly ever since. The milk frother is a game changer and produces the most beautiful froth, and the espresso crema is amazing. I have been consistently impressed with the quality of the espresso shots and the overall performance of the machine. After cleaning everything, reading all instructions, I was very disappointed that to lock and unlock the filter requires more strength than I have. I had to ask my husband to do it, and it was hard for him too because while you try to lock it, the machine is too light, and it moves all over while you struggle to lock it. I currently make latte everyday with my 6cup manual espresso pot. I thought I’d treat myself to this machine, but I can’t lock and unlock it. Very disappointing.     • Poor Design Flaws: Too Light, Too Hard to Lock, Bad Button Placement, 2nd Cup Delay

Let me start by saying the machine I purchased does in fact make a decent cup of espresso. However, the frustrating process to obtain said cup is not how I want to spend each morning. Its super light, which works against you when you factor in the amount of force require to lock the filter in place. The only way to get the filter set is to hold onto the top of the machine with your free hand and push down firmly against the counter to hold it steady, right where the very sensitive touch controls are located. This results in the machine turning on unexpectedly and will start to brew your coffee before you have everything in place. On top of that, after one cup of espresso both mornings we tried it, it would not stop blinking to make a second cup until we unplugged it and left it to depressurize, about 15 minutes A lockable suction cup bottom holding it tight to my countertop would possibly alleviate the clumsiness of the process, and perhaps make this useable, but as its designed, thumbs down. Makes fine espresso, but not great espresso. Steam wand is extremely temperamental. Pretty cheap portafilter. Glass warmer exists, but machine will overheat and cycle off before it gets warm enough to actually warm the glasses. Overall not bad when discounted, but there are better options out there.
