I just purchased this espresso machine 2 days ago cuz the cheap one I got 2 months ago already broke. Let me tell you, this is amazing. I brewed 2 breves in about 3 mins. It’s a little loud, but 10/10 an amazing machine. Not a single pice of espresso made it to my coffee. The steam wand is OUTSTANDING!! It delivers a magnificent froth. If I could make my dream espresso machine... this would be it!! No need to spend $200, $300 or more to get a great product. I'm no coffee aficionado but I do enjoy my morning coffee and I also like to shake things up by experimenting with different add-ins. I ordered this machine because it looked like it was simple enough for daily use, plus the rapid heating process indicated it would save time during my morning routine, which tends to be a bit rushed. I was worried setup and usage might exceed my skill level, but this was actually much simpler than the machine my spouse bought years ago. Detailed instructions are included, which I found helpful, and it's a breeze to use even if you only glance at the instructions. The time it takes to brew your espresso is also significantly shorter than previous models we have used, which is much appreciated. The side-arm frother works great and can be adjusted to meet your preferences. I believe this would make a wonderful gift for all sorts of occasions. It's less expensive than the machine we owned previously but feels just as well-made and durable, plus it offers so much variety in terms of the frothing variations and the types of beverages you can create. The machine itself is also much more compact than ones I have used before; for people with small homes like mine, that helps save space without sacrificing quality or depriving yourself of the beverages you enjoy. Im not so sure what I think about this machine yet. The sound of the function is very loud and it doesn't work quickly, it seems to be a learned process. it is put together well and heavy duty.

This espresso machine is amazing. I have never owned an espresso machine and knew little about it. This machine was so easy to use and came with great instructions. I'm just now figuring out how to use it but it makes great coffee drinks! I have been having a lot of fun experimenting with it. The instructions are so informative. It told how to use it the first time and that it would be loud the first few uses. I would have thought something was wrong with the machine without that warning. I love how compact it is. I don't have a lot of countertop space so that is a huge factor for me. It comes with a nice size water reservoir. I've used this machine for several days without having to fill it up. If you're looking for a great basic espresso machine, this is a great one! Comes with almost everything you will need to get started! ... show more

Loving this Espresso machine. Over the years have used quite a few of these countertop units from the various big box stores and in a similar price range. This one seems much better constructed and has a much higher quality feel. One thing I found with the other lower-cost units was that the water pressure couldn't force the water through the shot if it was even lightly packed. This Gotmore unit has had no issues pushing the water through fine ground well packed coffee. The steam wand generates actual steam and not just hot water like some I've used. Had no problem making a nice milk froth. One thing I really like about this unit is the ability to adjust the shot time anywhere from 25-60s. I can pull a 4oz doubleshot with it set to 60s and it comes out nicely. Instruction manual was very detailed and covers all the functions with both written and visual guides. ... show more

My cousin owned a coffee shop in Winnetka, IL for years, and i turned to her to give this one a shakedown (as well as teach Me how to use it) .... She gave it a HUGE raving thumbs up for the price, so I'm going to pass that along as the bulk of my review. One thing - I always thought Espresso took a long time, guess it was just the slackjawed pink-haired types at our local St*rbucks, hahaha - this actually gets the job done almost as fast as our K-cup regular coffee machine (other than prep, of course) and so far, the better i get at setting it up the happier i am with the performance of the unit ... show more
