Super powerful. The 48v systems like this just feel much stronger than the 36v scooters. The battery really does have 480 w-h. The tires are 4 ply tube type that go to 45 psi. The app works. Front shocks work well. No rear suspension but smooth anyway. The deck is wide like the rental scooters. Brakes are way too strong. It’s all or nothing basically so lean back! I think it’s the electronic braking that kicks in at full strength regardless of how much brake is applied. That’s really the only drawback I found. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for
Good: The 48V 10Ah battery with 450-watt motor runs circles around my 36V scooter, and climbs hills much better. The pneumatic tires feel high quality and have loads of grip. The front suspension was much better than no suspension. Bad: The motor controller is cheap and rudimentary. Despite being rear-drive, the e-brake is powerful, so powerful that you will never get a chance to engage the front mechanical brake. Unfortunately, the e-brake doesn't brake proportionally to the brake lever. It brakes either 100% or 0%. It doesn't matter how you feather the brake lever. Once the brake lever reaches the threshold, and the e-brake activates, the deceleration will jerk you. At low speeds, <9mph, the e-brake is less strong and is tolerable, but >10mph, the jerk is quite annoying. If you brake in the middle of a turn at >15mph it is downright dangerous. The throttle control is better than the brake, but still rudimentary. It seems to have 3 levels of acceleration: 15%, 90% and 100%, and they're about 1mm of throttle travel from each other, which causes jerky, unpredictable acceleration, which makes it unnecessarily challenging to maneuver in tight areas, such as between and around parked cars. My lower-priced scooter has a phone app with many settings to adjust and fine-tune the sensitivity and gradualness of the throttle and e-brake. This scooter has no adjustment settings. Like most scooters, this scooter folds down and there's a latch to lock the handlebar to the rear wheelcover. But the alignment is poor by design error (cannot be adjusted), so the latch is finicky to engage and self-releases with moderate handling. Customer service pretended to be helpful, but ultimately chose to give me the runaround. Conclusion: Despite the shortcomings, I can’t find another 48V scooter in this price category, in 2023. I have chosen to keep the product, and rate it 3 stars because in value, I got what I paid for. ... show more

    • Even Adults Need Their Toys!
This electric Eskute is so much fun! I loved how fast it really moves. I felt like a little kid on Christmas Day! I am really excited to take it on my next trip to a city where we must travel around on foot and explore. Additionally, we have construction going on in our neighborhood and it handled all the bumps like a champion. There are even places where there is no pavement and it handled great! ... show more

My student teaching period is around the corner. So I purchased this E-scooter for the preparation to commute between the school and my home. I bet you would love it as soon as you opened the box for its visible good quality. I was a little bit scared at my first ride. However, after my few tryings in my community, it makes me more likely to go to a nearby playground to play tennis (the distance between my home and the playground used to be my excuse for the practices.) This was a simple set up and easy to control.So far in a week of playing, my son enjoys riding it very much and always says this one is much more better than those he had before. It looks cool and sturdy. The ride is very smooth and fast.My only dislike is that when I go to fold it up it has no attachment t to secure it . Other than that I love it！ ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I think that overall this is an excellent electric scooter that’s worth its price tag. This scooter is designed and built well, which makes it a pleasure to ride. And while this scooter isn’t a speed demon, it does go fast enough to make it really fun to ride.
