Great small ice auger
Style: Pistol Bit 6"
Got the 6" model which cuts really quick, and works for most of my fishing. Really happy with how well the eskimo cuts and how quick it goes through ice. Fished on 15 inches of ice and it went through easy. Night and day better than the k-drill. Would probably go for the 8 inch version next time as the holes froze up quickly and got smaller on a few really cold days.

This was way lighter than I thought. Works very well. I would suggest getting the extra handle to brace with while drilling. Couple times it caught and torqued around when going through the last little bit of ice

how dependable is your cordless drill

i have been ice fishing for 40 years. i only wish i got this sooner. great product very light and drills a hole in seconds even through 14 inches of ice. just keep your screw gun charged and dry. well worth the money!

Excellent customer service from Eskimo

Works great! When using a 2a battery (underpowered per Eskimo) with the 20V Hercules Harbor Freight brushless drill it will work, just stops every once in a while. Definitely needs the 4a or higher, but can drill at least 12 holes in really thick ice before the 2a battery dies. I also accidentally found a sand bar instead of water second time using it after easily going through 2' of ice. Could not drill another hole. Dulled blades. Ordered replacements from Eskimo direct, as I wanted the center tip too and could only find it through them. Ordered on a Monday, came in the mail on Friday and had me out there again that weekend. Good stuff!

Excellent Ice Auger

Love this auger, cuts faster than any of my buddies augers. Takes a bit to get the Drill set correctly the first time you use it. Auger bit gets a tad stripped. Other than that, have had no problems with it. Still sharp after several years of heavy use. Plus it comes with an extra blade I believe. I was skeptical about the plastic fins, but they have held up great so far and makes it much lighter.

Great auger

Bought this auger last week and used it for the first time yesterday. This thing is an absolutely beast. I had a milwaukee m18 drill without a stabilizing handle. I just used my forearm and body to stabilize. This auger flew threw 12" of wisconsin ice without a problem. Drilled 5 holes with it. The 5th hole was as fast as the 1st. Took less than a minute per hole. Very happy with this purchase.
