I'm using these as a weight to attach a tie down for an RV awning, not a free standing canopy. They hold plenty of sand to provide the weight needed, fabric is heavy duty, and the velcro top holds the sand in even when laid on their sides as mine are. They're working well for my purpose, and seem like they'd be equally good as a canopy weight. This product kept my outside canopy tent from blowing across the yard against during 50mile an hour wind gust. It also help keep my canopy tent from breaking. If the wind gust became stronger I would have lowered the canopy tent to the ground. I work hard for what I buy and it is important to keep things nice. Worth it for the price for what they are. Straps are long,, making it difficult to tightly attach to smaller structures.. But more then long enough to attach to 2 inch tubing.. D rings and a more robust closure system would have been nice..

These are a great size, holds a 60 pound bag of sand in each one, easy to fill. Velcro plenty long to easily attach to gazebo. If setting up in your back to leave it up for a long time these are the bags to get. I did put my small bags that I bought originally next to them for added weight and so I could get some use out of them but wish I just gotten 2 sets of these to begin with. Very happy! ... show more

The bags are really sturdy and have a lot of capacity. There are 4 Velcro tabs to attach to the support poles. You can get them in colors to perfectly match your gazebo.

These are nice, look good and seem durable. These say 25-30 pounds per bag. Well I bought two 50 lbs of sand. After putting 25 pounds in in bag they are only filled out 1/3 of the way. So these can Easley hold 50 pounds of sand in each bag. I will update to see if the Sri thing holds up after adding the extra weight ... show more
