Disappointing Performance for Real-World Use

I really wanted to like this chair because it has a few things going for it. The seat is wider than expected, which is comfortable, and while the cushion could be thicker, it's acceptable for short periods. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The seat belt feels cheap and flimsy and needs to be redesigned. As previous reviews have mentioned, the chair is also very heavy. Even the male drivers who transport me have commented on how difficult it is to lift into the trunk of a vehicle. The front wheels also provide very little traction, especially on wet pavement after it rains. That alone makes me question the chair's safety for anyone who relies on it for daily mobility. The biggest problem, however, is the collision-avoidance system—or whatever the constant beeping is supposed to be. It is overly sensitive to the point of being unusable. I recently had to use this chair at a professional development workshop because my prescribed power wheelchair couldn't be transported that day It was so loud and constant that I became self-conscious and stopped moving around the room because I didn't want to disrupt the training. Instead of helping me participate, the chair became a distraction and made an already challenging situation even more uncomfortable. The instruction manual doesn't help either. It needs a major overhaul. I purchased this chair to give me more independence and the confidence to travel on my own, including using rideshare services when needed. Instead, I found a chair that lacks stability, struggles for traction on wet surfaces, and has an overly aggressive warning system that makes using it in public frustrating and embarrassing. The chair has potential, but it needs significant improvements before I could recommend it to others

A great wheelchair, highly recommended
The wheelchair is very sturdy and turns smoothly. With two batteries, it is very convenient for long outings and extended use. It also has a safety belt, and the armrests can be adjusted up or down, which makes it even more practical and comfortable. Overall, it is really excellent.

This chair saved my social life

Okay so I've got some mobility issues but I hate feeling trapped at home. This electric wheelchair with removable battery lets me actually go out. I fold it up, toss it in my friend's trunk, and we go to the mall or whatever. The battery lasts forever – I charged it like 5 days ago and it's still going. The 5-speed controller is easy, even my clueless friend could drive it (badly). Turns tight too, I can spin around in my tiny apartment hallway. Obsessed.
