We bought the 12x12. My wife and I built it over several days. So far we love it and it looks great, feels solid. It came in three boxes and the packaging was effective. Other reviews mention missing parts but ours had everything. The roof panels were in a box surrounded on the edges with wood - still had some dented corners but simple to bend back straight. One structural beam also had a small dent in the roof panel channel that I bent back straight with a crescent wrench. Stuff happens during shipping. The 'required tools' in the directions show gloves, a drill and a small step ladder. We had two drills, one with 4mm hex bit for the M6 bolts and the other a 10mm socket for the nuts used on some of the fasteners. Used an 8ft step ladder which was great for the top cap install. Eight of the roof panel fastener nuts are tucked into the corners and I used a 10mm box end wrench with tape on one side so the nut won't fall out to reach into the tiny space in the corner. Be sure to anchor the gazebo - ours came with concrete anchors I installed with a hammer drill and 7/16 masonry bit then a 14mm socket wrench. The directions were OK with one exception: in our booklet step 14 put the 'drip edge' bottom rails on the main roof frame BEFORE the main roof panels. Once the bottom edges were on, it was impossible to put the roof panels on correctly. We removed the bottom edge rails, put the roof panels on, then re-installed the bottom edge rails. This is the correct order of assembly and preserved my sanity after fighting to get the roof panels on with the bottom rails in the way. The top cap roof panel directions were in this order: roof panels -> bottom edges and I should have ignored the assembly order for the main roof. Other than this assembly order error it went together fine. Very pleased with the build quality. Great value compared to others we looked at.

First the positive: We love the look of this Gazebo. It feels solid & sturdy, it should provide many years of enjoyment. The parts came in 3 boxes and were well marked. I love the fact that when you took the stickers of that labeled the parts, there was no sticky residue left on the parts. While this is normally not a big deal, given the fact there many parts with part labels to take off, I really appreciated that small time saver. The cons: The gazebo was extremely difficult to put together. I'm fairly handy; but this was a hard project. I'm not sure the total number of hours we spent on the project, but the total construction period lasted over 2 weeks (we worked on it on and off during that time), much longer than expected. This project definitely requires two people at a minimum, great if you can find a third set of hands. What made it extremely challenging is the instructions had some steps in the wrong order, for example, on our 12x12 Gazebo, step #14 (installing the lower side rails that hold the lower metal roof sheets in place) should come after you install the roof sheets (step 15 & 16 & 17). It took us a while to figure that out, and once we did, the project went much smoother. The on-line videos I found seemed to gloss over the step on how to install those lower roof sheets, so no help there. I really don't understand why Erommy has the instructions ordered the way they do, it makes no sense. Also, the brackets they use to keep help keep the roof sheets in place are a pain, as they kept falling out. I really think they need to come up with a better design for that. I tried to crimp them to help keep them in place, but that only improved things marginally. Finally, we started building the gazebo, and when we got to the step for which we needed to install the metal roof sheets, we opened the box only to find the first few sheets had dents in them. They were packed dented, as the box itself had no damage, so the dents did not occur from shipping. I asked Erommy to replace the third box, which they declined, but did refund a nominal amount as they claimed the dents did not represent damage that would impair the structural integrity of the Gazebo. While we were initially disappointed with their decision, we ended up being able to pound out the dents so they are not too noticeable. Lesson learned: We should have opened all the boxes and inspected everything before building the Gazebo. In the final analysis, we are very happy with the finished product and would recommend others to purchase it; but if you’re not the least bit handy, I would strongly recommend hiring somebody to construct it to avoid the aggravation we went through.

This was a great purchase! After comparing gazebos at box stores in my area and online, I decided to pursues this Erommy 10x12 metal roof gazebo from Amazon. It was on sale for $679 and I paid $200 for shipping. It was delivered by FedEx in two shipments. One long narrow box that weighed about 112 lbs and another more square, fly box that weighed about 124 lbs. The boxes were labeled 1of 2 and so on. I couldn’t move the boxes to my backyard, so I opened them in my garage, sorted out the parts and then carried them as I needed them for each step to the backyard. Pros first: 1. Great communication with the manufacturer. 2. Product arrived on time and it was packed incredibly well. They even used a wooden frame in the larger box with metal corner brackets to protect the sheets of metal on the roof from bending. 3. All the parts were present and undamaged. 4. The instructions were mostly photos and relatively easy to figure out. 5. All the fasteners were sorted and taped to cardboard sheets which was a pro and a con. Pro from the perspective that they were sorted out, con because they were annoying and sometimes downright difficult to remove from the cardboard and sticky plastic covering. Also they weren’t labeled on the cardboard sheets which would have been very helpful, although it was possible to figure it out, but was a time consuming extra step. I think numbered baggies might have been easier, but riskier also sooo, whatever. 6. With one exception all the holes were present and matched up relatively easily. The weight and quality of the metal was at least what I expected and actually impressed me in weight, sturdiness, color, finish and appearance. 6. The assembled gazebo is beautiful, perfectly sized, study, and an excellent, excellent quality for the price and compared with similar gazebos of double or triple the price. 7. The assembly was mostly straightforward and not difficult with a couple of major exceptions. Cons: Everything was fine right up to the instructions for installing the roof panels. There are these clips that slip onto the slanted edges of the panel pieces that go in the corners, then the angled roof piece with the clips slides into a channel in the frame of the gazebo. You are instructed to first assemble a horizontal rail that the panels will rest in (so they don’t slide out and decapitate passersby. This means that the panels must slide in from the top of the rails. This was extremely difficult to accomplish on the smaller upper roof due to the height of the roof and the reach required to get to the very top and slide down. Also the clips would come off and fall into the channel which would require a restart on that panel. I ended up loosening the lower rail and sliding them in from the bottom on the short sides. This discrepancy between reality and the written instructions took me hours to figure out (at this point I was doing this by myself). I scoured the internet for anyone else who had this problem and could find nothing! Even the company’s own videos showed the roof panels magically sliding into place. I finally made it work on the small top roof, but in the case of the lower roof it was physically impossible to install the panels from the top. We had to devise a way to push the panels into the channel from the side without popping off the clips. We decided to use clear packing tape to tape the clips on. We pushed the corner panels into the channel from the sides and then put the middles in last. They have to overlap, so that is a bit of a learning curve too. Then we screwed the panels in with one of the spacers and screws just to hold it in place till we got the rest in and could put the lower track on. Once we figured that out, things picked up steam again. Also, the instructions show you installing the concrete sleeve anchors in about step 4, well before the frame is even squared up, which is obviously stupid. After we had the whole thing assembled and where we wanted it on our patio, we rented a hammer drill from Menards, bought a 3/8 concrete hammer drill bit for under $7 watched a bunch of YouTube videos and after some trial and error secured the entire gazebo to the cement patio with the sleeve anchors provided. If you don’t anchor this gazebo down, you will be throwing its twisted carcass in your trash after the first windstorm. The entire gazebo weighs less than 250lbs which is a fluffy human and once the roof is on it’s like a giant umbrella. Anchor it down well or you will be sorry. Once anchored it seems very sturdy. We rented the hammer drill for 4 hours and it took about 2 to do the work. The holes in the metal support plates were not big enough, but the hammer drill enlarged them easily. Once assembled this gazebo is exactly what I was hoping it would be. With the mosquito screens zipped it is cool inside and the bugs are outside. We spent the whole weekend hanging out inside reading napping, talking. It is perfect on my patio.

This gazebo was actually my second choice. The one I originally ordered was out of stock and unavailable for 6 weeks. This was close in size and price so I went with it. Glad I did. This is a very nice gazebo. A few things to note. This gazebo comes in four (4) boxes. I got three on the day I was promised. I was unaware that there was a forth box until I laid out all the parts and discovered I was missing the roof panels. I contacted Customer Service and they replied immediately that the fourth box was actually close by and would be delivered the next day. It was. I didn't know how many boxes were in the shipment. If you're not going to assemble this right away, you may not know you are missing a box until much later. NOTE TO SELF: FOUR (4) BOXES) The first thing I did was pull out the assembly instructions and was horrified to learn that there was no writing . Just pictures. They looked complicated and I feared the worst. In reality, the instructions were easy to follow, well illustrated and I didn't have to deal with writing that was done by someone in China who took a semester of English in the 8th grade. I read a lot of reviews that said this requires 2 or 3 people to assemble. I assembled the entire gazebo with the exception of the roof panels by myself (I'm 67). Things you need to know: This gazebo needs to be on a base of either concrete pad or a wood deck. I built a ground level deck for mine . I made the deck a foot longer and a foot wider than the gazebo. If you are working alone, Assemble the four legs and rectangular frame upside down. When all four legs are on the frame, tip it over and do the rest standing up. As with most things I do, I assembled mine during a heat wave. Although I live in Maine, it was in the mid nineties on the days I built this. My yard has no shade whatsoever. If you are assembling this in the direct sun, put up a canopy of have a garden hose handy. The parts get incredibly hot. If you don't cool the parts or keep them shaded, handling will be a problem. I misted the parts with the hose. Worked great. I've read review that said some holes don't line up. They do. If you are having a hard time lining up holes, check the instructions again. You are likely doing something wrong. Most of the screws go into threaded brass inserts. Make sure your screw is threaded properly before driving it home. If you cross thread or if you over tighten, the brass insert will spin in the hole and you won't be able to tighten it or remove it. Take your time. I read reviews that said the roof leaks. Within three days of completing mine, a tropical storm came barreling through. I feared the worst. Wind speed got to 50mph and the rain was torrential and driving. I actually went out to check on the gazebo. It held strong and not a drop of rain entered through the roof. Take your time, follow the instructions. If the roof is assembled properly it is water tight. I'll be interested to see how it does with a snow load this winter. **You will need a second person, and a second step ladder to put the roof panels up** The gazebo comes with 12 wedge anchors. These are great for concrete but if you are securing to a wood deck they wont work. I used 2 1/2" galvanized deck screws. In hindsight, had I know about this, I would have added blocks under the deck where each leg lands. Since my deck was built before I got the gazebo it was too late. I did buy some galvanized twisted cable and some eyebolts. I drove the lag eyebolts into the deck frame, ran the cable around each leg and secured with a galvanized wire rope clip. Not real pretty by if I get a big storm it will keep it from ending up in the trees across the street. The only issue I had with the instructions was about the curtains. They come with a Velcro tie to secure them to each post. I still don't know how those work but I've got them to hold back the curtains. Be aware that each curtain covers 1/2 side. It's a little confusing at first but you can close in any part or all of the gazebo with the curtain and / or net. In summary, we have tried all kinds of things to shade our yard. Canopies, Huge 12' umbrellas etc. None really did the job. I was hesitant to part with $1400 for an experiment but it turned out great. This gazebo provides shade wherever and whenever you need it. The roof is well ventilated and it' very comfortable to sit out under it. It is my wife's "go to place". It was a good buy. If you're looking for some shade, you won't go wrong with this gazebo.

I purchased this product in Fall 2025. While it looks good aesthetically, the quality is extremely poor. If I could give it a negative rating, I would rate it a -5. I have a degree in construction, building design, and installation, and this was one of the most difficult products I have ever assembled. The sheet metal is thin, low-gauge, and overly flexible. Many of the pre-drilled holes do not align, and the instructions are terrible—there is no written guidance, only confusing diagrams with steps presented out of order. In several instances, parts had to be removed after installation just to proceed to the next step. Component identification is unclear, particularly with panels and multiple screw types that only work with specific pieces. The rain guards came loose during installation, and the edging bent over the winter. At approximately 75% completion, I discovered that incorrect parts had been supplied, including a missing support column. I contacted the company (based in China), and the customer support was very poor, and communication was slow, and they required photos and a detailed explanation of the issue. It took two months to receive replacement parts, which arrived during the winter. Instead of sending the single missing support bar, they shipped an entire box of unnecessary components. Parts did not align with each other, the support bars require bending them as to fit with the pre-drilled holes. The rain gutters would not stay in place during installation—I had to tape them to the panels to prevent them from falling off. The roofing material is also thin and poorly manufactured, contributing to the alignment issues. The whole gazebo moved and shifted when 75% complete and remains unstable and could risk falling. This is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. I strongly recommend not purchasing this product or doing business with this company. Unfortunately, it is now too late for me to return it. The final roof panels still do not align with adjacent panels, pre-drilled holes, or roof rafters. The entire process has been extremely frustrating—from assembly to dealing with the manufacturer. Buyer beware.

Fantastic gazebo! I’m a 50 year old female andrather proficient with DIY‘s. This project took a good three days to assemble. And you will need 2 people when it comes to roof. This gazebo is a five out of five for appearance, directions, quality parts and waterproof curtains are a plus. I assembled this on top of a 12 x 12 back deck well off the ground. It was challenging but it is doable. Be sure to measure your area well. The roof overhang is the dimensions of the size. Not from post to post. I purchased the 12 x 10 size. At the time I ordered this it was $599 plus the $99 shipping from FedEx. It was delivered within 48 hours! I’m going to give some MUST tips that I used based on A couple of prior reviews and proved helpful. 1) make sure you have or borrow 2- 8 foot A-frame ladders 2) go to Harbor freight and buy you (2) of the hex head drill bits. Because you’re gonna lose one of them during the process. TRUST ME 3) fill the four post full of gravel 4) go to your local hardware store and buy 12 lag bolts W/self locking nuts. ( you better bolt it down to your deck or surface ) This country is experiencing a lot of tornadoes lately. 5) TAKE YOUR TIME The directions are very easy to follow the roof panels take some time to figure out and the brackets the panels slide into our aggravating. The quality of the mosquito netting and curtains are top notch. I would recommend this gazebo to anyone. Additionally I did order some screw in mounting clips and bought a strand of Edison lights from Sam’s and install them around the inside of this tent. Ordered the outside harbor breeze fan for the center and two pendant lights that are wonderful! We are now enjoying our back deck again morning noon and evening every day!

We absolutely love our gazebo! It was a few days of work putting it together for my cousin and I, but we rocked it out considering we are both short, female, and over 50. I do wish there was more explanation in “word” form in the instruction manual, but we deciphered the pictures without too much trouble. Make sure you pay close attention to where the holes are when installing the metal roof panels. It will save you some frustration. It such a wonderful retreat from the sun and the bugs! It’s great quality, holds up to the north Texas winds and sideways rain, not one leak at all. Definitely recommend this gazebo.

I’ve bought a different brand gazebo before off of Amazon this one was 250 cheaper so I decided to go with this one over the other brand. I should have paid the extra $250. Very cheaply made. This is semi easy to put together I did 95% of the install by my self. But it came bent in a lot of places that I had to try and bend back out. 4 screws left out because they wouldn’t align. I also had to use gorilla tape on some areas that wouldn’t stay in place. Overall it looks nice and will do the job. Mainly for sun coverage. I’m sure it will leak in some spots but it hasn’t rained to see. I will most likely have to silicone some areas. Btw I’m a 41 year old female that did this myself and I did 4 hours at a time over 4 days. Take your time and know when to stop or you will get burned out.
