I have to admit that I was a little worried about the materials while installing this Gazebo. But once completed, I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy it turned out. The next day (after installation), we were hit by a big thunderstorm with 40mph wind gusts. Even though this was anchored into the concrete, no damage occured to the Gazebo itself. The installation did take some time. It requires two people and took approximately 9 hrs to complete. The install guide was perfectly written. In hindsight, I am impressed by this product and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a moderately cheaper solution.

I would say that there's no such thing as an "easy" gazebo to put together, but that being said, my husband and I got this together in less than a day (including time to go through and unpack the box and get everything in order. We were missing one set of pieces and a few others were a bit damaged, but I consider that to be more on the transport than the company. We reached out to the company regarding the missing and damaged pieces and they got the replacements sent to us, free of charge, quicker than we really expected considering how hectic shipping times can be in the world right now. With just the two of us, putting the gazebo together came together pretty easily. The instructions have no words, it's all images, but honestly makes it extremely simple to follow, one step at a time. We fastened it to our deck to make sure it won't fly away in wind, and so far it is holding up extremely well, and it is very pleasing to look at and sit under, and love that there is two hooks to hang fans/lights from. The netting and curtain work really well too. Makes for wonderful outdoor seating!

I normally wouldn't ding a product because it was damaged in transit but in this case the overwhelming majority of reviews said the product arrived damaged. The manufacturer should probably be doing something different in the way of packaging or shipping. The seller immediately sent new parts, so I'm happy with that. But I had damage consistent with other reviews - damaged rails that needed to be bent back into shape in order to slide in the roof panels, and the corners of the roof panels damaged in transit. So 4 stars. Overall this is well thought out and sturdy. It will take a minimum of 2 people to put together. Not because any part of it is really heavy, but because of the size. Instructions could have been a little more clear in some areas but overall weren't bad. It's time consuming to assemble but I wouldn't say difficult. I have it installed on a wooden deck and the feet secured with lag bolts. The corrugated, translucent panels let a decent amount of light through and still provide adequate shade. Despite not really having any seals or sealant between the roof panels, there are no leaks even during heavy rains because of the way the pieces fit together. I do see some moisture inside the panels but it does not make it inside the canopy and it dries out with the sun. And it survived the worst hail storm I've ever seen here in NJ. We'll see how it does with heavy snow. The curtains are nice to block cooler breezes or more sun if necessary. We really don't have much of an insect problem so while the screens are nice we don't really use them.

We were looking for a sturdy gazebo that is more "permanent" than a cloth or tent-like structure. We wanted both mosquito netting and curtains. We thought this one would be adequate. It arrived much earlier than Amazon predicted, which thrilled us. Upon opening the boxes, we were a little intimidated by the number of pieces. We located the directions to glance over the evening before we planned to put it together, to give us an idea of what we were facing with construction. The only reason I gave this only 4 stars for "easy to assemble" is because the instructions were only pictures. A little confusing at first. Once we realized how the instructions were directing us, we picked up steam in putting it together. The pieces were nicely packed and very well marked to coincide with the instructions. Even the screws were well packaged on cardboard and taped so they stayed in place until it was time to use them. The structure went together very quickly. The entire project took us about 5 hours. It was just the two of us working on it. There were a couple of times we could have used a third person, but we accomplished it ourselves. As it went together, we began to notice how well made the pieces were. One of the rails with a channel that the roof panels went in to was pinched a little on one end, but this was easily remedied with a pair of needle nosed pliers. One of the things that stood out to us as we worked is that where there were "seams", they included little "covers" so the finished product looks "finished". This gazebo is sturdy and very pretty. The mosquito netting and curtains are also VERY substantial. We couldn't be more thrilled with our choice and expect to enjoy this gazebo for many years to come.

This product came in in two deliveries. One boxes was all the beans and hardware, second box was the roof. It came a few days later. Yes this will take 6-8 hours to assemble. The instructions are pictures with no words. Each picture has a letter to the part that needs to be attached. It is easy to understand, the small Allen key is what takes so long to screw in. At first I thought this product was cheap and not sturdy. When you start to screw everything in and how well you do makes it firm and sturdy. Roof is not really a hard top, its a plastic UV board which allows some sunlight through. It does say it when you buy it and does show a picture before you buy. It does the job, we live in Illinois and with stands our weather. A few pieces of the roof arrived damaged most likely from shipping. I sent an email and they responded within 48 hours. They requested some pictures of damage and has resent it within a week. Very professional and reliable. I definitely would recommend this product.
