For the price I paid, I couldn't be happier. My biggest concern before buying it was whether it would be truly water-resistant. It is. There are small ventilation holes in the top which will allow some drops of water to come in, and of course some rain will come in on the sides if there are strong winds, but by and large you will stay dry even during a heavy rain. I still cover up the furniture in the gazebo if a heavy downpour is expected during the night. I seems pretty sturdy, although I didn't take any chances and bought the recommended sandbags to provide weight on all four pillars. Well worth the peace of mind. The only two criticisms I would offer are these: 1) the step-by-step instructions consist of drawings only with NO written guidance-- a few words of clarification (especially with Step #1) would have saved a lot of time. It took me about four hours (with two people) to assemble it. 2) Velcro straps would make it much, much easier to enter and exit the gazebo when you have something in your hands, which is almost always. To open the "door" you have to unzip from the bottom up, and it's impossible to do that with one hand. Other than that, I'm totally satisfied and feel it was well worth the price.

The canopy is very nice looking and has the bug netting as well as side panels that you can close up and keep high winds out. Our last one had three canvas roofs get torn off by winds because we didn’t have the side panels. This particular canopy was easy to put together and all parts were labeled with letters that coincided with the directions. If there is anything that I would want to improve about the unit is the metal thickness of the frame and structure. It is a little lighter weight metal than our last one but you are able to anchor it down with bigger sized screws because the feet have holes to do so. All in all we really like this unit

My brother, myself and my father all toiled away working to put this gazebo together. We were very excited as it’s about 300 days of sunshine in South Texas so a little shade outdoors is a treat. Sadly after three days of working to put it all together it only took an hour or so for the wind to take it out. Didn’t matter we had it staked in. My nieces were swimming in the kiddie pool we put underneath it and a few gusts of wind later and it lifted off like Dorothy’s house in the Wizard of Oz. The kids were terrified as were the adults as we watched it sail into my neighbor’s yard NARROWLY missing their vehicles. Whew! Doesn’t matter what we do to secure it, it can’t handle Corpus wind. Do anything about 12 mph is a no for this gazebo. And let me say 12 is a calm day here. Now we want to return it and it’s the most annoying thing to dismantle and to pack away and to haul off to a ups site AND AFTER ALL OF THAT the shipping etc gets deducted from the return. Reasons why no one likes ordering from a third party on this site. TL;DR: if you live in a windy place I DO NOT recommend this. Also returns are the worst for this product so think long and hard before purchasing.

Unlike some reviews I read, everything was included in my box. Nothing was damaged even after the FedEx delivery lady purposely shoved and DROPPED my box (seemed to be a common occurrence and had on security camera multiple times delivering and mishandling our packages as if didn’t even care, we reported it), but thankfully it didn’t hurt anything. HOWEVER, part E was mislabeled as N, but given the diagrams, you can tell the extra four N parts are E (if you buy it, you'll understand). I say purchase it! Just follow the pictorial directions VERY, VERY closely as we installed the roof support frames underneath the top plate rather than on top of it. Once we realized our mistake, we had to leave two roof supports under the plate due to the screws becoming stripped; I wish they would have replacement parts for sale so that I could fix it right. It worked out, though. Also- the roof supports with the hook-type ends with a hole in them go into where the top panel rails join together. Just undo a screw, place it over the hole and tighten it back up for a foolproof install- we had issues figuring out where they went (like stated before- if you buy it you’ll understand). Overall we like it, it's big and roomy- and suits our needs for around our pool. Side note: those with swimming pools, listen up! The curtains close to make this gazebo perfect for those needing to change out of (or into) their swimsuit without the need of them running through your home to the bathroom/bedroom while still wet, so, it's a two for one: a gazebo and an outdoor changing room for our swim guests!

Took 4 people about 3 hours to put together, but it was a terribly hot day. Went together nicely, just had 1 or 2 spots where holes were not drilled, but easy fix. Bought 8 canvas bags we filled with sand to anchor it. Provided the necessary shade we needed on the patio. Would buy again.

I loved this gazebo when I put it all together. We use it all the time now. I put the gazebo together all by myself so if you are handy, you can too! Everyone who has seen it loves it. Of course, there are always pros and cons to everything, but I am giving you my honest general opinion of my experience. It cover a very large area so I had plenty of room for all of my outdoor furniture and tables. I added a hanging electric light in the middle and a lighting net across the back for a great chill effect. I would recommend this gazebo to anyone who wants an elegant-looking and large gazebo to have friends over for some great times.
