Was shocked to learn that the $26 price tag ($28 & change with tax, etc.) was only for ONE PACK.... Note to seller - change your effing picture..... And apparently I have to check a star..... I had put in my search query that I was looking for Ernie Ball Super Slinky for a 12 string guitar. Why is it listed as Part no. 3223-12 and subsequently telling the buyer it's a 12 PACK!? It is very confusing when you can already see its a 12 pack box, but to put 12 after the 3223 number, you are inclined to believe that it was the very thing I was looking for. Been using these strings since I was 12. They are at the right price point for a case. Great quality. Sure, there are better strings out there, but they are gonna cost ya $$$$ and if you got more than 20 guitars, heh .... I like how they are packaged. They stretch in nice. Easy on my fingers. Greatest strings ever made .... I like the 2224's also, if I could find them by the case, I'd get em also. ... show more

I have a few different guitars, and on some of them I switch up the strings and try out new brands & gauges, etc just to keep things fresh, but the one or two guitars that I play all the time and gig with have Ernie Ball 9-42s on them all the time. Strings are a personal thing: one kind might never break, but don't wear well because of the pH of your skin vs. the materials in the string alloy. Some might never seem to oxidize, but the high E string breaks every day. I find that these strings are a great balance for me. ... show more

I have tried other brands and other gauges of guitar string. The best for me is Ernie Ball 2223 Nickel Super Slinky Guitar Strings. Great tone, great response and easy on my fingers. It doesn't matter if I put them on Gibson Les Paul, Fender Tele or any other guitar I own I know they will sound and play great. Buy Ernie Ball strings and you will be glad you did. ... show more

I have been using these for years and I should have bought more when the price was lower than it is now. However, they are still a very good deal at the current price. These strings hold their tuning well and last particularly if you keep them clean. I change mine often as I play a lot but I did leave some on one of my guitars a long time just to see how long they would sound good and not break. I was quite amazed. So for anyone, a playing musician or a beginner, you can't go wrong. Check out the names of those that use them. Good srings, great price. ... show more
