This is the most comfortable and most supportive belly band I have found! If you have a hernia (even in your naval- it comes with a special piece for your belly button you can use or remove) you will love this! I even slept in it until I had my surgery and recovered and I would forget it was on! I was very pleased with the quality of this support garment. It was breathable, easy to wear, adjustable, and true to size. However, I need additional support, more like a control panty. Returned brace, received credit immediately, went on to order several extra firm control panties. It did hold in problem area, just not quite the foundation garment I really needed.

This is easy to put on and adjust. I like the way it fits under my ribs where my ventral hernia was. The pad can be added for even more support. The brace I received from the hospital had stays but was straight across. This belt fits so much better. It is a good value for the price. It should be hand washed to keep its durability. I may order another.

Pros: Great tight support. Great wrap design, easy to put on. Cons: They have several plastic vertical support rods around the belt, and the ones around the front will start to wear through the fabric. I returned one and got a replacement, and the very same day after wearing it, a small amount of wear began around one of the plastic strips. They sayyou can wear this under clothing but I am concerned that the friction from the clothes will also contribute to the wearing of the support fabrics. Unfortunately it takesaway from a great belt design. The fabric the plastic supports are in, is different than the stronger belt fabric, and is not designed well to take friction wear well, or pressure wear from the plastic rods pushing at either the top or bottom of the channel they are in.

I am not one to sit down and write a review. So this is a must read review. If you don’t have time to read it all, just buy this product! I have been a hernia sufferer for years. I get them removed and it’s not long before they come back. I’ve had several intestinal issues and surgeries. That being said, i have spent years depressed because my hernia is always a bother. I just sat down one day and wondered if there was such a thing as a hernia belt. And low and behold, i found this (others too) but i liked the reviews of this one. That being said, i just got it yesterday. Wore it the whole day and for once.....had the best night sleep EVER. I just got back from shopping, didn’t wear it. Before anything else i put it back on and sat down to write this. It truly is amazing. Gives you that comfort of not needing to constantly hold your stomach. Is it comfortable, yes! You know you’re wearing it but it is not bulking and uncomfortable. The material is not stiff so even with my arthritis, i can pull it to wear i need it. I’m ashamed at all the doctors I’ve visited and never once did one mention this kind of thing. It’s truly heaven sent and changed my life. Just in 24 hours. I’m just a regular girl no ties to this company. Sincerely putting this out there for those that have suffered as i have, hoping to get you relief. Just buy it. You too will be sitting down in 24 hours to write a review. So thankful to have found this. Ps. It came next day too. That was awesome Update: weeks later, I’m still in awe of this belt. I have been missing out on so much life because of my stomach hernia from weakend intestines. This belt has given me my life back serious folks, i know the pain and suffering from hernias. If I’m moving around now, so will you. I wear it every night to bed, don’t even know it’s there and by morning my hernia is back in where it belongs and i have a productive day. I wear it in the day time too but religiously every night. Even if my hernias not poking out, i wear it. And that seems strange to write because my hernia has ALWAYS poked out.
