As the headline says, I can't think of any purchase I have anticipated as much as this one. FedEx dropped off the chair and I was sitting in it an hour later. I am only 5' 5", so I adjusted the chair to me after installation and got to work ASAP. I am a game developer, so I spend long hours in front of the computer and struggle with back issues. This looked like the perfect chair, and so far so good. However, I reclined in the chair and locked it in recline position, great. then I unlock the recline and stood up, only the chair was still reclined!?. I thought oh no, I would hate to have to ship this back. I had to bang on the back to get it to un recline, thats why 4 stars. I will update this if I dont have any more issues for awhile. I sat down and immediately felt the back support. I suffer with a degenerative disc in my lower back and don’t have any problem walking when I get up from this chair. During tax season, I’m at my desk about 12 hours a day and I’m confident this chair is what I needed.

I upgraded from a $99 chair to this rather expensive fancy chair. The lumbar support is great, the back is comfy. But the seat cushion is the most uncomfortable seat I have been on in many years. Painfully bad! I work 12-14 hours in my home office. My butt never once hurt in my 5 year old $99 chair. I traded a hurting back from lack of lumbar support for a hurting butt. I start hurting after around 2 hours, not even a portion in on my work day. I am an accountant going into tax season and am literally desperate since I threw out my old office chair but I cant sit in this chair for more than 2 hours a day. I will purchase a memory foam cushion in the hopes it will resolve the issue. Considering how expensive this chair is I would never buy it again due to the horrible seat cushion.
