I ordered two of these for our Livery Stable. The first was ordered through the Equine-Eye website. After realizing it was going to take a week to arrive, I noticed I could purchase one on Amazon and have it the next day. So I ordered the one from Amazon and went back to the Equine Eye website to cancel that previous order, only to find there was no easy way to cancel it. No worries, I thought. We have 30 horses here and if the camera worked out, I would be ordering many more. The one ordered from Amazon did not work with any SIM card (AT&T, Verizon or the EIOT). I was able to return it with no problem. After the arrival of the camera that was ordered from their site, I tested it and it worked with the EIOT SIM. But the app doesn't allow restricted or view-only access. This won't work for our business. We don't want someone to accidentally turn on the camera light or the siren because it may spook one or more of the horses. I contacted their Customer Service 10 days ago and they rarely respond and are refusing to accept the return for a refund.

I have to say that I am a big fan of solar powered cameras. I like that I can put them anywhere and there’s no need to constantly charge them. I have found that making sure the camera is fully charged before installation helps the solar panel to keep up with things and the cameras last a long time. I have also found that if at all possible, making sure that the camera/battery isn’t in direct sunlight all day helps extend the battery life as well. This camera has the added benefit of being portable, making it perfect for travel and keeping an eye on your show animals or pets. It does require you to have a sim card and pay for a plan, but that’s to be expected. The good news is that due to the solar panel, you can use this just about anywhere you can get cell service. Which means in the middle of a field or a stall. You can also use this to talk to your animals if you want to. Next they’ll have one that shoots out treats for them too. I was thinking sugar cubes!

I purchased this camera package and the recommended SIM card and never could get camera online after dealing with customer service I got nowhere. I tried to buy an AT&T SIM card and it doesn’t work either I don’t recommend this product it is very expensive paper weight right now and customer service couldn’t help me at all DO NOT BUY

Really happy with this camera. It was easy to set up & the quality of the video is really good. The night vision is even really clear. I researched a lot of cameras before deciding on this one, and went with Equine Eye because it's portable so I can use it in my trailer when hauling and in the barn & paddock as well. So far so good, and i'm finding it easy to switch around from place to place.
