These were just as advertised. Work well and easy to install. Batteries seem to last a fair amount of time without the need to recharge. Easy to adjust motion detection and the camera quality is clear with night and day time activities.

    • Battery doesn't last in a busy area
I've always liked google cameras and while these ones are good, the battery life is horrible. Video quality is great, I love how far you can zoom. The ability to hear what is being said is also great. unfortunately if they are in a busy area with frequent motion, the cameras will maybe last 3 days. I had to turn them onto the lowest setting, meaning only 3 hours of recording, no audio, and only 15 seconds of recording at a time and with this setting a lot is missed. It certainly wasn't worth the amount paid, I'll be purchasing the corded ones instead. ... show more

    • Cameras are amazing.
The cameras are incredible. I have them in 3 homes and looks at them every day. Installation is a breeze and set up is equally easy. Once you have the app, you can add the devices with ease. Install is as simple as screwing the base up and using the magnet to attach. Adjustment is a breeze and playback is very handy. From a security and monitoring perspective there is nothing better. I have added skins, different bases, solar panels, etc to a number of the cameras and they work incredibly well. If you want monitoring cameras, this is a no-brainer. ... show more

    • Batteries don’t last long
I like these the picture is pretty clear and it was easy to set the cameras up but the batteries don’t last long. I ended up buying the solar chargers for them.

    • Terrible.
Cameras only record 9 seconds most of the time and misses all the important stuff. Very disappointed, have tried to fix issue but google says this is how they record unless I spend a few more hundred dollars to get the weather proof power cables. Waste of money do not buy.

    • Only comes with two chargers
I bought this kit after getting a single camera. They are all battery powered and it's shipped as a set of two 3 packs. Each 3 pack only comes with a single charger. So you get two chargers for six cameras that are supposed to take five hours a piece to charge to 100%. The discount for buying in bulk is completely lost when you have to buy individual chargers. I recommend you buy everything one camera at a time unless you are already planning to buy some extended cables. That's the other thing, they give you a ridiculously short cable and it's proprietary. So if you want 24/7 video (only supported on power [not solar]), you have to use these short cables or buy extended length chargers. Love the cameras, hate the rest.     • Faulty hardware, device dies and Google won't support
These are poor quality hardware at a premium price. Right around the time your short warranty expires, the device will die completely and refuse to charge or turn on. It is a very common problem and Google does nothing to support.
