Description

The photographic print defines the true art of photography. As the canvas is to a painter, the print allows you to clearly portray every detail of your creative vision — and for all to experience what you felt at the moment of capture. Introducing the SureColor P700 — a breakthrough in professional printing technology. Drawing from over 20 years of experience, the SureColor P700 incorporate the same large-format printing technology used by the world’s leading photographers into a sleek, compact design, allowing for the creation of exhibition quality prints from the convenience of a desktop. This product uses only genuine Epson-brand cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges and ink supplies are not compatible and, even if described as compatible, may not function properly or at all.1. Most features require an Internet connection to the printer, as well as an Internet- and/or email-enabled device. For a list of Epson Connect enabled printers and compatible devices and apps, 2. Roll media handling is standard on P700; optional on P900.3. Print Permanence in testing. WIR lightfastness ratings are based on accelerated testing of prints on specified media, displayed indoors, under glass. Actual print stability will vary according to media, printed image, display conditions, light intensity, humidity and atmospheric conditions. Epson does not guarantee longevity of prints. • Unbeleivable printer
Style: SureColor P700 - New Size: Up to 13" Prints
Ink is expensive but the prints are amazing

  • The worst printer I have ever used
Style: SureColor P900 - New Size: Up to 17" Prints
This web page's description of this printer begins: "Outstanding image quality and color." I have never encountered a marketing claim that is less true than that one. In my opinion, the printer is junk. Fit and finish are shoddy. The construction feels cheap and fragile. The on screen "instructions" are often incomplete and confusing. Ditto for the user manual. The printer devours...and destroys...expensive Epson photo paper. The principal quality issue is that prints are marred by "banding"...long colored bands that span the print at every few inches. I have made every possible adjustment that Epson suggests, and nothing solves the problem. I have had "success" only with Epson matte photo paper, which is so thin I'm not sure how it could be mounted without damage. I'm extremely disappointed that Epson shipped this half-baked printer, as it is not even approximately ready for prime time. Shame on Epson for continuing to sell such a grossly unsatisfactory product! ... show more

  • Great photo prints
Style: SureColor P700 - New Size: Up to 13" Prints
The printer I had before was decent, I had an HP that I would print photos on, but this Epson printer is phenomenal! The color is richer and pictures that didn't come out as well before really pop and show more color depth. I was hesitant about 10 inks but it adds to the quality of the prints. I went with the p700 instead of the p900 for the lower price. ... show more

  • Boy does my wife love this printer
Style: SureColor P900 - New Size: Up to 17" Prints
We purchased this to replace an old Epson 2200 that had seen better days. Thus far, the P900 has exceeded all expectations. Since we are using this for personal printing of photos rather than as a professional photographer would, the set-up was straightforward and we haven't needed to mess around with advanced settings. The Wi-Fi setup was simple and my wife can print from her multiple Apple devices and I can print from my Android phone and Windows based laptop. Three months in, we have had zero problems. Picture quality is as sharp as anything you could want. Colors are incredibly life-like and vivid. Blacks and Grey's are equally impressive. The printer also uses wide format paper up to 17 inches and that's without purchasing a paper-roll attachment for banner length printing. So my artist wife and her non-artistic spouse (me) couldn't be happier with this printer. It's admittedly a little expensive, but the printing results are as professional as anything I've seen. ... show more

  • Pros and cons...
Style: SureColor P700 - New Size: Up to 13" Prints
I had an Epson P800 that still would be around today if it weren’t for getting banged up during a couple of moves, I made. I went with the P700 this time around and so far, I love it! Pros Size, works for what I need it to do Prints way faster than the P800 Custom size borderless prints, this is the only brand that has this feature last time I checked Cons The shiny material on the top that is a dust and pet hair magnet, come on now Epson Cost of ink When printing user-defined, the print preview is reversed it can be changed, no biggie As far as price is concerned, depending on what you’re using it for, if you can get a rebate, it’s pretty reasonable considering what regular run of the mill printers run nowadays. Suits my needs. ... show more

  • Great 13 inch printer
Style: SureColor P700 - New Size: Up to 13" Prints
I purchased this printer as a replacement for an Epson photo R2400. The R2400 had done a good job and it was time for a replacement. Epson did a great job upgrading their 13 inch Photo printer. I am happy with the printer. I have a few problems with the whole process and want to give some insight to potential P700 customers. I had a major problem getting things setup. I am not sure where the problem lies either Microsoft or Epson. The driver installation is wierd to say the least. Since I was replacing an R2400, I made the mistake of unpluging one and plugging in the new printer - WRONG!. You gotta read the instructions. I think there could be better communication between Microsoft and Epson to make life better for Epson customers. Another complaint I have with Epson has to do with the included INK. There are ten ink cartridges. The included cartridges are just shy of empty. I was able to print two 8x10 prints before "replace Ink cartridge" message. These cartridges cost $41 each. So when you see the price of the printer at $800, Stop and think. The price of this printer is $1200. Epson could very easily put some more ink in those included cartridges. Just Be Aware. Epson makes good stuff. A bit more clarity would be appreciated. Another problem with the ink. Amazon cannot find "Epson P700 ink". I get all sorts of non Epson ink as well as random Epson ink. You do not see all Epson P700 Ink which one would expect. At any rate, If you purchase the P700 and get things setup and running, I think you will be pleased. tks ... show more

  • Cannot handle fine art paper
Style: SureColor P700 - New Size: Up to 13" Prints
DO NOT buy this printer if you plan on making more than a few prints a week. I am a full-time artist and decided to transition from having a professional make my prints to making my own at home. This printer makes beautiful prints, but unfortunately it requires you to hand feed each piece of paper if you want to print on anything other than regular letter paper. I even bought the thinnest, most lightweight fine art paper and it still requires me to hand feed the paper. It has a "thick paper" setting but you REALLY have to fiddle with it to get it to accept each sheet. It requires a learned finessing. Pretty much every time it will say "out of paper" and then restart the entire process. Even more annoyingly, it will frequently say "paper jam" once the paper does feed, and then takes almost a whole minute to recover. I spoke with several different people at tech support and they just said that this printer can't really handle thick paper, which is unfortunate because if you're going to spend this much on a printer that has 10 ink cartridges and prints with such precision, you definitely want to print on good paper. For months I have been spending hours every week babysitting the printer and getting it to print. There are times when it simply will not accept paper at all. Really disappointed. ... show more
