The media could not be loaded. The only reason for 4 star is I couldn’t set it up on my laptop .The quality of printing is great so far , I bought it for stencil for tattoo the stencil ink didn’t come in time and the instructions says is best to load the printer with the ink it comes with first so it can do the power up thing because most of it would be used up for that’s me i was not found of using that stencil ink I bought to do that because it was very expensive but I’ll up date once this ink is finish and I start using the stencil in .. first print was on the stencil paper almost seems like it was stencil ink ... show more

    • Very Quiet and Efficient

I had a Brother printer for many years, worked very well, until the company stopped making drivers for the model I had. It is a sign of disrespect to the customer to discontinue drivers on models that are still being used by customers, so i will never buy another Brother product. I searched and searched for a basic monochrome printer, not needing fax or scanner that I already have. So many are wifi only, which I eliminate for many reasons. It is amazing how companies make simple printers so unnecessarily complicated. I finally found this Epson which so far I am satisfied. There is no sound, the print quality is excellent, and very easy installation through their website software download. I like that I can do maintenance directly from the printer app. The only disappointment is that the first copy takes much longer to print than other printers I have owned or used. But overall, it is sturdy, and dependable and very easy to use. Works great with my MAC. ... show more

Good quality print. My previous HP laserjet had problems with the toner fading. The ink is consistent. The HP, I either had to pay arm or leg for HP toner. Or take my chances with generic. The bad, it is slow and has paper handling issues. The Epson prints 30% to 40% slower than the HP. But the better quality print offsets that. You can't auto double side print legal size paper. Anything less than 24 lb paper will jam. ... show more

I purchased this printer 2 1/2 years ago. The first six months it worked pretty well. Then the paper starting jamming up. It would lose the connection and not want to print at all. After a frustrating time I have purchased a different printer.

I hate using printers because something always goes wrong. I’m happy to say that’s not the case for this one, which has been a delight to use compared to a Canon Pixma. Installation took some time as the printer needed to be connected via the internet to update and print wirelessly. I’d say about 45m-60m tops to get everything up to speed. Wireless settings work well on my old MacBook Pro 2013 computer, as well as scanning documents. Phone connection is not compatible, but Epson has a feature where you can set up an email for this printer to print from anywhere! I’ve used these wonderful features while I was away from home and needed to print something for the parents at home. The caveat is that the printer needs to be on standby for this feature to work, unless the person at home turns on the printer. The main selling point for this printer is that the ink is cheap. It comes with a bottle to fill up the tank, and it’s satisfying to do. The printer has printed over a hundred documents already, and the ink tank is slightly lowered. You can buy aftermarket 532 Ink, and it will work on this printer. The documents come out surprisingly sharp coming from an inkjet printer. It’s not as crisp as a laser/LED printer, though it’s perfect for me. I love printing on this printer, and I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Great printer for TATTOO STENCILS

I’m a tattoo artist so I use this printer to make my stencils, instead of using the epson ink I use inkjet stencil ink. (Yes, it is on Amazon as well) You’d have to use a syringe to put the ink in because of the nozzle and fittings that the printer and ink bottle have. If you are printing from an iPad or phone then you would have to download the epson print App. Although it does print wirelessly it isn’t AirPrint capable. When you are going to print from let’s say Procreate then you’d go to share , pdf , scroll down to epson print and choose quality and quantity. Very easy and set up was a breeze through the app. This printer prints stencils for me that are sharp and vivid, almost as if I hand stenciled each sheet. At first I was skeptical just because it didn’t seem as high tech as my last printer that has a fancy led screen and such but it seems that epson made this printer specifically for those of us who just want to print, those of us who can easily navigate our phones and the apps in them but don’t care to understand a printer menu. I’m pleased with the results and highly recommend. (*I only use this printer for tattoo stencils, I have not used this printer for any other type of printing.) ... show more

Comprada en Junio 2021 como NUEVA, siempre esta dando problemas cuando se hace el reporte de impresion dice que su primera impresion fue el 31/3/2021. No la recomiendo.
