After set up, it frequently signaled that there was no paper in the paper tray. Learned by trial and error how to resolve this. Otherwise, excellent printing.

Don’t buy it. Had paper jams quite often. Called Epson and spent 3.5 hours on the phone trying to trouble shoot. Finally tell me they need to replace under warranty but then because they consider Amazon a third party supplier wouldn’t honor the warranty. What is otherwise a pretty good printer is deeply crippled by the fact that the available Epson print drivers do not allow you select "envelope" of any kind. You set the word processor and the printer for envelopes, but neither the "Epsom Print Enabler" nor the "Epson Smart Panel" have that option. Thus it will try to print to whatever other non-envelope format the driver displays as a selection. The one app highly touted to solve such issues, "Epson Iprint" doesn't support this ET-3943. ... show more
