This was so easy to set up and it equally easy to start using. The instructions and phone app are excellent. I Can be in another room, want to print something and when i return to the room where the printer is the page is completed. It’sa fast printer (in my opinion) but not very quiet. That doesn’t bother me too much though. Anything that i have printed has come out beautifully. It stands, prints, copies and had so many different formats that i have yet to explore. It’sa tank printer and with as much printing as i have done (and it’s been a lot) my ink usage appears to have been minimal. I think this printer was an awesome deal at the price i got it for and I’m so happy with it! I highly recommend this printer to anyone in the market for one. It’sa great value.

It has been almost a year since I purchased this Epson ET-2850, I wanted to see how well it worked and if it would last before leaving a review. Here are my thoughts.. this printer offers impressive print quality with its EcoTank system, providing vibrant and sharp prints. The long-lasting ink tanks are a cost-effective solution, and refilling is generally straightforward, minimizing hassle. The user-friendly interface enhances ease of use, making it a reliable choice for any printing needs, whether it’s business or casual. It quickly connects to wifi with no problems. I use this printer with my Mac and iPhone. I have enjoyed this printer, I have had no issues at all.

We were so tired of the ridiculous price of ink cartridges for our previous printer, and wanted to switch to a tank printer. But we don't print a ton, nor do we print photos. We just needed a basic printer for everyday use. And so far we've been quite satisfied with this one. The colors are just a little dull, so I don't know that this is the printer for someone who will print a lot photos. And because I have it set to Best Quality, it's not as fast as some may want. I haven't tried it at Normal, but I suspect it'll still be a fair bit slower than higher end printers. The touch screen is pretty small, but works fine. We actually only use it to make copies. For everything else, we just use the computer or the phone app, which so far seems to work okay. And the ink usage? As advertised. Loading the ink tanks was simple, and you CAN'T put the ink in the wrong ones, which is nice. I've probably run a hundred or so pages so far, most with full page color pictures, and I can't see that the ink level has even budged on the tanks. This thing is going to print A LOT of pages. And when it does come time to buy more ink (probably sometime in late 2025), it'll still be cheaper than cartridges are. I've seen people online say an ink tank isn't for someone who doesn't print a lot because it will clog the print heads. I'm hoping to avoid that issue but just regularly printing SOMETHING. I clearly won't have to worry about wasting ink. My only disappointment with the purchase wasn't with the printer, but with Amazon. I ordered the printer in white, but received black. But the color of the printer wasn't a deal breaker, and once we had it in the house, we didn't feel like jumping through the hoops of trying to exchange it. So for us, four stars. It's not perfect at anything, but it's pretty solid at most things. And we won't have to put another penny into our printer for at least a year and a half.

i have gone through MANY printers and this one is my favorite by far (with everything there are pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons and the cons are not even bad). i use this printer for printing essays, syllabuses, for my scrapbooking hobby, all that kinda stuff. pros: -i am not super tech savy and this printer is sooo easy to troubleshoot when it has problems (paper jams, etc) the directions are right on the screen & there is a step by step for all the interventions you can take -they MEAN it when they said you barely have to put ink in. i havent had to put ink in yet and i have had this thing for 8 months. i print things in color weekly and it's not even 1/4 of the way through the first ink fill up. -least amount of connection issues ive had with a printer so far. -maintenance alerts!! they remind you to check the ink -price is so so so good for what it is. cons: -the printing is good quality, but not always the best (BUT that doesnt matter for most people im just trying to list a con) sometimes there are streaks on the page if you print a lot of pages in one day. i am talking a lot of colored pages though, maybe 20???
