    • One month in with daily use, and still going strong
I purchased this hoverboard for my 12-year-old, who's been riding it daily. He reports the battery lasts anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour-and-a-half, but not sure how much constant use that means. The bluetooth speakers synced up immediately with his old iPhone, and the sound is loud enough that he can listen to music outside without issue, and ensure that mom or I will be asking him to turn it down when he comes inside. I myself have ridden it as well, which is the only reason I've held off on 5 stars across the board, and deducted a star for "sturdiness." When I ride it, it feels absolutely solid and works great, but you can hear a grinding in the wheels. I'm tipping the scales at 205 lbs, so I'm not sure that I'd encourage anyone to jump on and ride it if they're much heavier than that. The fact that the grinding was immediately noticeable puts a question in my mind as to how durable the hoverboard will prove to be once it's been ridden by my son for a season or two. I will try to post back after some time has passed so I can make a more accurate assessment, and adjust the rating accordingly. All in all, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. ... show more

I did not like the fact that charging instructions requires to plug charger in to hoverboard before plugging into wall outlet. Why wasn't this designed to be plugged in with any order. Kids don't always pay attention to this. There are typos all through the owners manual. The charging lights dont work like I think they should. With those minor issues, my son loves it. I wouldn't recommend running it on light colored carpet because the rubber wheels can leave marks. I would also not recommend a person over 200 lbs. use this product. I don't believe it will hold up or was designed to withstand those weights even if the owners manual may say otherwise. This is a kids toy, do expect it to last forever. We have had it for a month now with it still working but my son has gotten bored with it already. My son is 7 and weighing in at almost 100lbs. One last issue with this product is the bluetooth signal is week. So unless you're child has their own bluetooth phone or similar device to have with them while riding the hoverboard you might as well forget using this feature. ... show more

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter last Xmas (2019), and it still works well to date. BT still works but the speakers have no bass at all so she rarely uses the speakers but haven’t had any issues with BT working or connecting. The hover board still works great and I bought the go cart adapter for it for her birthday and it works well with that too. At first she baby’d it but now that it’s a go cart she takes it out on our gravel driveway and still haven’t had any issues, well worth the $100 (price at the time) I spent for it. Now I have to get one for my 7 year old lol, this time I may consider getting one with all terrain tires due to our use cases. ... show more

This hoverboard is superb. My kids LOVE being on their hoverboards. It's a great way to get them outside into the fresh air. The only issue is that we wish the battery lasted.longer.
