A great guitar, especially for the price. Tuning machines keep in tune. The sound is great. There's one thing need to be aware of is the electric one, the saddle was cut to be mass produced for every guitar however the adjustment was not made to accommodate the extra (2mm) height of the pickup wire under the saddle. Caused the action to be too high. I tried cutting/sanding down the saddle, didn't do it exactly correct and needed another saddle. Contacted Enya, and the shipped another saddle out to me, completely free of charge. Great customer service. Other than that, great guitar, great sound, comes with a nice extra set of string. And certainly durable. Dropped it and scratched it a little and still works great. Light weight, great guitar on the go, and great for a first/beginner guitar.     • Good travel guitar, needed some adjustments

I've had this guitar for awhile now and I'm not sure if I would purchase it again. For the price I think putting the money toward a Tonewood amp may have been a better choice for me. I still enjoy this guitar and it does get played. The good points: It has good build quality, the frets are smooth and level, tuners are decent, strings are good, gig bag is nice. Sound is full for such a small acoustic and it holds tune well. You can connect your phone to the guitar and play backing tracks through the internal amp. Guitar also sounds good connected to an amp. The guitar feels durable and is built for travel, I have no fear of damaging it or having a problem due to environmental changes. The areas needing improvement: The action was extremely high, there is an inspection ticket stating the action at less than half of what it actually measured. The saddle had to be sanded to lower the action to the correct height, after that the guitar plays great. The electronics need the app to be usable, out of the box settings you can hardly here any effects coming from the guitar. I had to increase the volume using the app to set the level, not a big deal but should be set higher from the factory as you can adjust the volume down with the knob. Effects are not that great, app adjustability is limited and you are stuck with only the 4 effects. They should have added the ability to choose different effects and create your own patches. Digital processors are cheap and some more usable effects would have been nice. Overall it's a nice travel guitar (after adjusting the action) it sounds bigger than it is. The internal amp is nice even with the limited effects (after adjusting levels with the app). The App connects well and is easy to use, the ability to play backing tracks through the guitar adds to the fun and is a good tool for practice. Keep in mind the guitar may need some setup to play nice like mine did, if you cannot do this yourself it will be an added cost. ... show more

Wow! Perfect..especially for me as Im a truck driver who travels from East to west, North to South. My expensive wood guitar was getting dings and terrible humidy environments out here on the road so I had to do something about it. This guitar body is tough as nails but sings like a canary. Humidity is not a problem anymore..and this guitar holds its tune pretty dang good. The action was just a tad high but an easy fix with the included truss rod wrench. The sound volume...mehhh..probably not as overall loud as I'd hoped/thought but its doable. When i want a lil more volume i just hook up to my little practice amp. One thing i was disappointed with was the guitar cord/wire..it was already cutting out after only my first real use! Had to hold a bend on it for it to work proper. No matter ..i have a few of my own i guess. It sounds really good..and i have to admit..almost as good as my expensive wood guitars. But I dont have to baby this one or wirry if i leave it out the case. Honestly..this enya is so convenient and ready to go..i actually practice more now. It is perfect for practice..or performing...i used it at a friend's bbq and had everyone clapping singing and cheering my performances. Maybe it was the beer but either way..it must have sounded pretty good. Good enough that i didnt even bother to pull the thousand + Martin guitar out the case! About the app>>I tried playing with/adjusting the settings from the app..fooled with the amplifier and got a nasty feedback! I seriously thought i broke something or that i got a dud..it sounded horrendous! It wasnt broken..i just went too high on the eq. Deleted that setting ..and restored factory..no more feed back. This guitar is an amazing addition to my collection of budget guitars that hit way above their price point! With it's all fiber carbon body, it's resistant to temp changes, it's extremely lightweight, and very portable! I love the case it came with, and even the strap is perfectly fine here! I love the built in speaker with the 4 different effects! You can Bluetooth to it, so you can actually play to a back track if you wanted to. There's an app for it I haven't checked out yet, but I'm sure it is full of extra goodies for this 21rst century guitar! You get a pretty full, deep sound out of this little guitar, and I dare say it is amazing when plugged into an amp! I got this on sale for 224.99, and it is worth every penny! My only concern is the inevitable day the batterie inside it dies, and how I go about having that replaced, but that should be a good 5 years away or so, and I'll cross that bridge when I get there. For me, this was a self-bought birthday present I picked up and added to my personal collection that does not disappoint! If you've been on the fence about buying one, my advise is to take the plunge and you wont want to look back! A truly exceptional guitar! ... show more

This thing rocks! Very playable and stable. I am normally pretty careful with my stuff, but the carbon fiber helps with stability in humid conditions.... good thing, because I baptozed mine in the lake last noght after tripping on a canoe stored "improperly." Gashed my head on the dock, but the guitar was fine, after it dried out. Fizzled a bit on protest (and it floats); but, today it works again! I saw a few reviews about faulty electronics, but I could not kill this thing in my own stupidity, which is nice. It's "me safe!" I love her! Btw, it was still perfectly in tune after the violent dunking. Not a single scratch. Ahem.... ... show more
