Just what I've been needing! We bought our 2015 Explorer slightly used and maybe that's why I didn't have a net in my vehicle. We have 2 big dogs and only 1 kid so we always have the third row seats folded down. We use the back for groceries and dogs and hardware store trips mostly. My husband insists I keep jumper cables and a travel air compressor in the back just in case I should need them. I also keep my own canvas grocery bags in the back. All of that stuff was always sliding around back there. Sometimes I could hear the hard plastic air compressor case bumping against the sides of the vehicle. I just happened to search for cargo net on Amazon and this "envelope" style popped up. It's hard to tell from the pictures and at first I thought it was just a one ply net, which I thought was silly. Then I realized that "envelope" style meant you could actually slide things into it! Duh. I immediately ordered it on a Saturday and today is Monday and the mailman just brought it. Super fast delivery! I have already installed it and I don't know how I got by this long without it. This is great. It even has little clips that I'm assuming I can use to clip the net shut if I want to. It slides over the 4 hooks in the back of the Explorer right at the tailgate. They fit very snug so I have no doubt it'll stay put. I've attached my own photos to show how well it holds things. If you have items sliding around in the back of your Explorer, you need this net!

Have a 2017 Ford Explorer and am an outdoorsman and athlete. Bought this because anything above the deep storage compartment area that is created when the third row is in use tends to shift and sometimes falls out when the hatch is opened. The net worked well holding camping and mountain biking gear for a Boy Scout troop in Place. The picture shows the helmets, jackets, and miscellaneous gear being held securely. I did have one bike shoe shift out of the bottom but the bungee held it in place so it didn't fall out. Looking at the design I thought that is a potential flaw till I realized that that is the purpose of the pocket to put smaller items like that in it. I am going to grab 2 small carabiners to attach the cargo net to the tie down points along the top of the storage compartment and that should resolve the gap and make this perfect. That is the reason for 4 stars. Still wondering how this is not a standard factory feature. If in doubt get it, you will use it and appreciate you have it!

Not a whole lot to report other than it seems to be decent quality, the "pouch" feature is a really nice bonus, the fit is perfect (on a 2019 Explorer Sport), and you can't really beat the price (and Prime Shipping). Should come in handy for keeping the fragile bags of groceries from bouncing around.

Not much to say about this except that it fits perfectly and is convenient to store things that you don't want rolling around all over your trunk. Easy to connect to the Ford hooks and comes off easily as well. The clips across the top of the netting are also very convenient to hold the netting shut (if needed). My only complaint, and this has to do more with Ford's design rather than this product, is that when the 3rd row seat is in the normal position, it's very hard to place anything in the storage well of the trunk because the netting is so high up. Again, that is more Ford's problem than this product. Overall I would definitely recommend this product. For me, I use it mostly when we go to the store and I don't want the eggs or milk rolling around or when I bring my tools to work, I will throw the level in there to keep it secure.

The price was awesome which it surprised me how sturdy the material is for this cargo net. The netting is very thick, and I like that it comes with 2 plastic clips to keep the top of the net closed. I can fit all my grocery bags and everything stays put! I used to own a BMW truck and the cargo net in it wasn’t half as nice as this one and I am pretty sure I paid a hundred dollars more for it.

Based on previous reviews, I purchased this cargo net for my new Explorer. I have only used it for grocery items since I wanted to manage the "roll around" factor of those items. The groceries were in their own bags and I didn't overload the envelope net. However, within the two miles from my grocery store to my home, the bungee snapped at the corners in two places. The cord didn't break, but the end of the cord which was supposed to be stitched into the webbing on the sides popped out and rendered the net envelope useless since it now gathers all in the center of the cargo bay. Perhaps I got a bad one, but I'm really disappointed that it just came apart doing what it was designed to do.

Net came without carabiner-like nylon hooks to attach it to the anchor points in my Explorer. Should have looked at the pictures carefully. Many other nets, from other suppliers, come with the necessary nylon hooks. Now I am scrambling to find the hooks online, for additional cost.

the cargo net that was sent and the one pictured are 2 different kinds. the one shown is to help keep items from rolling out when opening the hatch. The one sent is designed to hang on the back ot the seats to hold items. Cost to return is not worth them time. Please don't use stock pictures but the actual item.
