I really like almost everything about this light. The neck of the light is totally flexible, so it be moved to any position or angle you want. It's light, and comes with both screws for mounting and a large pad of double sided adhesive foam, with is much stronger than needed to hold the light if it's attaching to something smooth. The light is very bright, but it's adjustable both for brightness and color temperature. I'm using it as a reading light so I'm trying to be sensitive to blue light and I can turn the color temp way down to 2700K, like a candle or incandescent, and fine tune the brightness to just what's needed to read. The remote control works well. I will note that I tried unsuccessfully to pair the remote for quite a while before checking the included battery and finding it was dead. Once I installed a new battery it instantly paired and works great. Now the one big catch. The lamp doesn't seem to have any memory. I set the color temp I want, then I set the brightness and all is good. I turn it off and back on and everything is back to default. It only takes a minute to restore my preferences, but it seems like an easy thing to do to have it remember the last settings instead or reverting to defaults. Minus one star for that, but a 5 star in all other regards. ... show more

I love this light in my daughter's room: perfect amount of light for either a night light or a reading lamp. You can very the color temp (blue-ish/yellow-ish/white), brightness (either a +/- or dedicated quick settings for 10%, 50%, 75%, 100%), and finally dedicated buttons for timers (she gets 20 minutes of reading then it automatically turns off). If she loses the remote, there's a on/off button on the unit's base. I used the included stick on base and it's been working well for 4 months now, hanging upside down. Above her head. I purchased this light in Feb. This week the remote stopped working ( used forsettings- light intensity, pattern,timer, and different shades for bulb). Contacted customer service by email and got this response " We are sorry to inform you that we don't sell the remote control separately in our store, because our wall sconces are all kits and don't have a separate package for the remote control." Really poor response and policy on the part of ENUOTEK. Now I have a reading lamp set to 30% intensity and very yellow toned bulb. Product itself: It looks okay but feels cheap. I've been worried about using the "adjustable gooseneck" because it feels like it wants to break from the base with every change of angle or position. The adhesive pad supplied works well, too well I'll have to repair the drywall for a new lamp that I'm going to install. I recommend NOT buying this brand not just on the quality but more importantly the non-existence of customer support!! There are better options out there!!! ... show more

I like the light and it was very easy to install by the bed. It comes with adhesive and screws as installation options. I tried to follow the instructions included to pair with the remove multiple times, with zero success.

This wall mount light is squarely targeted for use as a reading light - especially for reading in bed. It does an admirable job of that and has some really nice features like the Auto-Off Timer setting - 10 & 20 minutes, plus 1 & 2 hour choices. It's also really nice to be able to change both the intensity of the brightness as well as the color temperature between warm, neutral, and more bluish. I found myself liking the neutral which they claim is around 4000K color temperature. I've scoffed at the need for a remote control "for a light." But this particular set of remote functions for this light has converted me to believing that there really are times when a remote actually adds a lot of value! The instruction sheet is very minimalistic but you'll probably want to hang onto it as it tells you how to pair the remote to the light - not the way I would have guessed! Other than that for very key point, most people can pretty much figure it all out. The on/off button does what's expected, and appears to return to the previous "set points" for intensity and color. I didn't test if it kept the last timer setting, but I'd kind of doubt it! One other thing I couldn't test since I only have one of these lights is if the remote is paired to a specific light? That would definitely be an advantage in cases where each partner has their own light and remote on their side of the bed. It's kind of implied in the instructions because it talks about pairing with the remote's specific code. Overall I rate this as 5 stars. It feels a bit expensive, but lights and home fixtures tend to be that way...AND when you consider how many years you'll probably be using this, it can turn into a bargain! ... show more

I should have paid heed to other reviewers who said the remote doesn’t work. They are correct, it doesn’t. And you can’t use any of the features without it, can only turn the lamp on or off. Very disappointing. Returning.
