Bought this for my 10yo birthday. Neither of us had any experience or knowledge of 3d printers, we just took a gamble based off reviews. Ended up being the "best gift hes gotten". We were unboxed and printing within 15min! There's so many options on the app, hes still printing from there. But we are ready to take next step of splicing and downloading more personalized items to print. So much fun! Couldn't have been better to ease us into the world of 3d printing. Noise level isn't bad at all! Print quality isnt "perfect", but definitely not bad. Great buy!!

Do not get this. I got this 3-D printer for my son‘s birthday. Everyone said it was great for beginners great for kids. We’ve had it for a full week and it has done nothing right. It doesn’t complete the prints the print it does complete they’re really spotty. The nozzle is constantly getting clogged and I’m having trouble replacing the nozzle because even though I’m following the apps instructions on how to clean and prevent clogging. It’s still continues to not work. Trying to get a hold of someone to help me and not just an automated response has been very difficult. I don’t think this is worth the money and I don’t think this is new user-friendly.

For a beginner this printer out of the box is amazing! I was afraid because I was buying a kids toy or something but it’s pretty decent! I did a test print of the keychain. It was cool for someone who’s never owned a 3D printer and watching the whole process but it looks like a broken egg and wish the “keychain” test print had more detail. Whatever! I printed a soda can opener and it’s awesome!! There’s a catalog of items you can print from the app once you download it and set the printer up to the WiFi! Had a message when I tried to send the info to the printer and had to figure out how to make the printer go on WiFi and show up in the app. Maybe took like 15 minutes to figure out how to do it from the actual printer and set up the filament, but once you figure it out it’s easy to use! I don’t know if you can print anything that’s not in the catalog of items in the app, and hopefully I can figure that out!

It was easy to set up and worked a couple times but now we’re having troubles getting it to print from the app. It’ll say it’s been processed but on the machine it never starts processing. Not sure if it’s me not doing something right or if there’s some type of connection glitch.Other than that, it’s nice and compact and easy to use for all ages.

At first it was great. Easy to setup, pick a design, and poof an animal. After a couple of prints the base stopped sticking. Tried changing the pad, glue sticks, and spray glue. Nothing worked. Then trying to use a colored filament, could never get it to work. It's great if you just want very basic things and are learning to use one. My kid got bored with it after making 3 animals.
