I used this as an above headboard lamp. The ability to change the color hue from soft to bright is great and the brightness was easily changed via a switch directly on the body of the light. This would work perfect to mount in place of a vanity light, for my purpose I had to make a base plate to mount it directly to my wall without a wall electrical box. We have a low ceiling in our bathroom and this is the perfect light for it! It has adjustable brightness so we aren’t blinded in the morning! The bulbs rotate so you can point the light in whatever direction you want.

I hate giving a bad review although, it might not be negative for all. These light bars are a dull coated gray material that looks like cheap plastic but I think they’re actually metal. I can’t use them in the house I’m preparing to sell because they just look too cheap. I think I thought they would be more brushed nickel or chrome like but this is not the case, my fault. Also, the dimmer and light hue are switches on the fixture. Again just comes off as low-end cheap. I’m returning but blame myself for not really paying attention to how these lights bars are described. I find nothing inaccurate. If I wanted a light in a workshop or somewhere else where I wasn’t concerned about a quality look these might have been fine. ... show more
