After a month of daily use at home, I can truly say I absolutely love this knife set. The package is a bit heavy since it does include the wooden block but the box was well packaged and arrived without any issues or dents. The block is nice and hefty with a matte black finish which contrasts nicely with the knives. My kitchen is at the very front of my house and visitors always compliment my knives, they are very eye-catching. Each knife is made out of one single piece of steel and sharpened to perfection. They come very sharp out of the box. (Be very careful, I nicked myself twice and I'll warn you again, they are very sharp.) I haven't had the need to use the included sharpener yet, will update if and when that comes. Professional chef knives are usually very heavy and I assumed these would be way lighter than they are in reality. The Chef, Santoku and Slicing knife are a bit heavy at first but after 2 or 3 times of use, you'll get over the learning curve and start seeing their weight as a feature. That being said, these are still lighter than many other professional sets. The flat bolster combined with the robust handle is very comfortable and ergonomic. I'm very happy I pulled the trigger on these, definitely worth it

I don't think I've owned a sharp, decent knife in my life. I know this because these knives actually cut with ease! I have arthritis in my hands and the grip is so comfortable for me to hold! Very, very sharp, both in cutting and looks. Highly recommend.

Very nice set. Super sharp. My hands are small so the knives handles feel kinda weird in my hands,but I'll get used to them ! Makes sure you use a cutting board. The cut into my counter while I was preparing onions. Overall, we are very happy.
