Pro Puller Tabs: 24 different size high durability glue tabs suit different dent shapes. 3. Pro Glue Kit: 5 yellow and 5 black environmental glue sticks with a 100W hot glue gun, fast melt, and strong bonding. 4. Tap Down Pen: 9 different heads for different shapes, works great with a tiny bulge or dent marks. HOW TO USE THESE TOOLS: 1. Clean the dent surface with a clean wet cloth. 2. Insert a glue stick into the glue gun, connect the glue gun to a power source and pull the trigger for about 5mins to preheat the glue. 3. Select a suitable tab for the dent mark, (Note: The larger the tab is, the bigger drawing force could be taken.) Use the glue gun to apply enough glue on the tab, then immediately place the tab in the center of the dent while the glue is still hot and melting. 4. Hold the tab till it sticks, then wait for the glue to cool down, normally takes 5-8mins, even shorter in winter. 5. Use the lifter/ puller to pull the tab till the dent has risen up. 6. Clear the glue with alcohol with a plastic shovel, and clean the surface. 7. Repeat the above steps with a smaller tab till the dent had been removed. 8. • Glue-based auto dent puller from China
The instructions are loaded with Chinese dialect. I suppose we must grow accustomed to that in this day and age. This dent puller operates differently from the dent puller I had many years ago. The ones I had before used suction cups in which a single pop pulled out the dent. This BBKang model uses flat tabs to which you apply glue. The suction cup models listed on Amazon received poor customer reviews, and those kits don’t include miniature cups for smaller dings, so I bought this one. Instead of the single pop variety, this model slowly pulls the dent out which requires many pulls to get the dent completely out. My dent was located the ridge of the door, so the ridged surface made the dent more stubborn. I never did get the ripple completely out. My ding had a scrape of yellow paint where it had hit a concrete pylon. But when I combined this BBKang dent puller with some rubbing compound, the ding was barely noticeable. You would have to know the exact location in order to notice it. Other reviews here complain about how nearly impossible it is to remove the glue. I experienced the same frustration to the point I thought that I would never get that ugly black smear off my paint. Don’t follow their directions on glue removal. Use Goo Gone and it will come off like water. Since it didn’t completely remove the dent, I’m rating this four stars. But given what’s available on the market, this one might be the best you will find. ... show more

  • It works. It's not perfect, but it works.
A can of brake/carburetor cleaner contains alcohol, and that makes the glue release almost instantly. That's more convenient than the dribble bottle that comes in the kit. The glue will come off the puller feet and the car almost equally well. The puller feet will start to change with use, making them a little harder to pop the glue off of. I've fiddled and piddled, and mostly removed several dents from my vehicles. None are perfectly removed. All are a whole lot better than they were. I can't tell any real difference between the glue sticks. Both stick well enough to pull a dent out most of the way. Neither sticks well enough to pull the dent out fully. Be patient with letting the glue cool and harden. If you don't, it's a messier cleanup, and of course it doesn't pull the sheet metal up. You're completely on your own with regards to figuring out which plastic "feet" to use to pull a dent. Perhaps there are better choices than what I was trying. But without any instructions on which ones are for what, it's just a guess. I found the bridge tool easier to work with than the squeeze tool, which surprised me. I could see a little better, and since nothing happens quickly, it may well be pulling things a little further and slower. Either way, it was a little easier for me to work with. Sharpish type creases completely defeated the tools. The more sharpish the dent/crease, the more it defeated the tools. The glue would always release before the dent/divot/crease was pulled up. Tapping back down raised areas with the hammer and punch tool was surprisingly easy. I never pulled off any paint. That said, I carefully did not try pulling any dents that had damaged paint either. All in all, a worthwhile took kit, in my opinion. It greatly reduced the dents. Go slowly and gently and you'll do just fine. ... show more

  • This tool is great for hail damage
Size: 60pcs
It is my first day using the kit and I can already get 90 to 95% of a hail dent out on one pull of the squeeze handle tool. I even use a stopwatch to time the glue drying. I find that 2.5 minutes is ideal for not having the glue be too stretchy to pull yet not too hard to easily peel off the glue from the car. If you have hail damage, save yourself a few thousand dollars and an insurance premium raise and get this kit. ... show more

  • Pretty good. Needs better scraper, but totally worth it.
This worked very well for removing a large dent from a plastic bumper where another car backed into me. It did like 95% improvement on that dent with a little deformity that probably only I notice. I also tried it on smaller dents in metal on another car. It def improved those dents, but with much more time and effort. The end result on the metal dents is not as good as the plastic dents, but it can be improved with a lot of patience. Be sure to give plenty of time for the glue gun to heat up and then for the glue to cool down before pulling. Give like 10min for heat up, and 10 min for cool down. If you get impatient and pull too soon, the glue will just pull off. Then its a pain in the butt to prep everything again. Be sure to prep the area by cleaning well with alcohol. Overall, this is a good kit. The plastic scraper tool is too flimsy. I picked up a set of non-marring scrapers for auto body work at harbor freight that worked way better. Goo Gone works better than alcohol for removing the glue. The light colored glue sticks seemed to adhere much better than the black sticks. ... show more
