  • Epic hammock
Color: Evergreen
Love this thing. Compared to my friends cheaper hammocks it is just SOOOO much easier to set up. Only thing I’ll say is get the XL Helios straps. Not the regular ones. I quickly ran into the issue of not finding trees at the right distance apart. XL will give a bit more range. I ended up making my own extensions from orange dyneema that you can see in the picture. Straps aside (they’re a separate product anyways) this hammock is so great. Totally worth the buy for me. ... show more

  • Great Singlenest hammmock that will help keep the biting bugs from attacking the top of the hamock.
This is a great singe nest hammock with the no see um netting. The materials used for this hammock are top of the line. The 400 pound rated carabiners used with an Atlas strap or any other brand strap will make your set up fast and easy. The no see um netting will protect you from biting insects from the top but you will need to protect yourself from the bottom, insects can bite through the bottom of the hammock. After doing some research I purchased Permethrem insect repellent spray for the underside of the hammock. (This is safe for the material) This product is to treat clothing and material. NOT YOUR SKIN! I purchased a 24 ounce bottle here on Amazon for under $16.00 and that will be enough to do my back pack clothes hammock for a long time. I have also found that you will need insulation under the hammock in the summer when the temperatures get below 70 degrees. I get a could butt. (CBS). I purchased the Ember 2 underquilt from Amazon, it is a great product. It may seem expensive but all other under quilts are. I purchased the Ohuhu® 75"x 34" Sleeping Bag with a Carrying Bag for Temperatures 48 F to 59 F from here on Amazon. This is a great upper quilt that is good down to 40 degrees used along with the ember 2 under quilt. I set up my hammock in the backyard with the Ember 2 under quilt and the Ohuhu sleeping bag. It was 38 degrees outside. I was able to lay in the hammock for over two hours watching the Manchester United/ Arsenal football game wearing shorts and a t-shirt . I was very comfortable and warm. I use the ENO pro fly to block the wind and rain when needed. I have practiced setting up my hammock a number of times in my back yard, Last weekend we had a break in the weather in upper NY State and I took a hike and set it up in the woods. Each time I do it I learn new tricks and make setting it up easier. I bought a book on Amazon called The Ultimate Hang: An Illustrated Guide To Hammock Camping Paperback, This is a very informative book that will make your hammock recreation more enjoyable. I would highly recommend joining hammockforum that will help you learn more. There is a wealth of information there and the people are very happy to share information. I am 56 years old and have done a lot of backpacking with a bivy sack or a tent and never got a good nigh sleep. Now that I switched to a hammock I am going to enjoy backpacking and spending more nights in the woods hopefully for a good long time.. I have the month of April planned out for a number of trips for excellent fly fishing in a number of remote ponds. Another big issue is the amount of weight you saved. I use an Osprey Kestrel 48 Backpack. With my hammock, top and bottom quilt, Rain fly, stove, cook wear, water filtration (Sawyer Products Mini Water Filtration System), Assorted Sing it ridge lines., whoopie slings, soft shackles and fire starter my pack weighs 14 pounds loaded. The added weight will be clothing, food and water for around 3 days. With this I should be under 20 pounds for a 4 day 3 night trip. If it was not for my ENO junglenest hammock I would not be able to do what I have planned . This has made a young at heart older man like me to be able enjoy my passion of being in the outdoors enjoying nature. ... show more

  • Good for the field
Color: Evergreen
I wanted a hammock specifically so I wouldn’t have to deal with setting up and tearing down a tent in the field. This one is perfect; don’t have to worry about bugs or feeling like I’m going to tip over! Set up and tear down for this takes only seconds and it is also very lightweight so doesn’t make my pack more of a hassle to carry. The only thing is that I didn’t realize you need carabiners to attach it to the suspension straps I got (I got the atlas straps), so just be aware you’ll probably need to also buy carabiners, straps, and if you want a rain fly. ... show more

  • Hammock Fun for Everyone
Color: Evergreen
So my wife and I aren’t you’re typical hikers and athletic type. We love to eat. But we also wanted to hammock. So, I bought her the Eno Junglenest. I also bought the Atlas Straps XL and highly rated carabiners made for hammocks and climbing. So if you are a bigger person and feel that hammock life isn’t for you, you’re wrong. This hammock is great because her or I can lay in this hammock with 100% confidence. We have 2 hammocks. The other one I have is great but nowhere near as comfortable as the Eno Junglenest. I use that one and my wife uses the Eno. She loves it. She was so happy today at the park and we had a lot of people complimenting the Junglenest because of the added bug net. Didn’t really need it today so just tucked it back. The weight of the hammock is less than 2lbs to pack. So in a small backpack I can travel with 2 hammocks, 2 atlas straps, 2 camping chairs, beverages and snacks. All the ingredients for a great relaxing day at the park. I will add the Eno Ember 2 under quilt and Eno Pro Rainfly very soon since my wife is so happy with her Junglenest. I won’t do something if she can’t. I’ll always include her in my fun times. Now we both can hammock and enjoy the lifestyle together thanks to Eno Junglenest and I’ll be buying a lot more Eno products in the near future to add to our experience for the fall and winter coming. Winter weekends in the mountain while in a hammock sounds very comfy to us. I highly recommend this hammock for bigger people 250lbs-400lbs with the Atlas Straps XL. You’ll never feel left out of a fun experience and can join the fun in confidence. ... show more
