Dee Zee Tool Box - Red Label Single Lid Crossover. Constructed of heavy duty Brite-Tread aluminum. Black Tread powder coat, provides a gloss black finish while it protects and prevents oxidation. Crown style lid with a full pan double-V stiffener for superior rigidity. Other features: lockable stainless steel paddle handles, dampened gas shocks, closed cell foam gasket, and self- adjusting strikers. Removable plastic tool tray to help keep small items organized.

It did come out of the box pretty beat up and the lid was bowed but I was able to straighten it out. It was very difficult to install by myself. It's very basic and the instructions are rather vague. It works as what I need it for.

This is a great product at a great price, especially for PRIME members. Looks great, and was easy to install. Very sturdy as advertised, and the lid mechanism works great to hold the lid open and makes for easy closing. The only thing keeping this from 5 starts is that the lock mechanism isnt' exactly heavy duty...a highly motivated individual with a crow bar could potentially break into it, but it would take a lot of work, and is therefore not much of a concern. It simply comes covered with a cardboard box and should be more protected. I think with Styrofoam corners and a little more, because it is an item worth more than $500, it should have much better packaging with more protection. I will return it

This box is very well built, great looking and at a good price. I only wish there where premade slots for the J clamps. Instead you have to drill your own holes and it will require a fairly large metal drill bit.

    • Hinge rivets most broken or missing and no key.

I understand that I bought it extra cheap but did not expect all the rivets holding the top on wood be completely pulled through and broken. I pulled the broken pieces out and repaired it. This took a good half day of work and a couple runs to Lowe's. Also missing the keys to lock. Not pleased!
