It did take a while to put together as it came in 2 small boxes and a lot of pieces. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. I did it myself with the help of my 13 and 9 year old. This bed is sturdy and huge for a King. As two heavy set people it hasn't failed us yet. We haven't put the drawers on underneath yet. The only qualm I have with this thing is that the slats came slightly bent so they pop out of place a lot when you move around on the bed and you have to lift the mattress to realign them. Wish there was a metal beam included that we could bolt down to hold them in better.

I love my bed. It was easy to put together. I did it on my own and it took about three hours. The frame is very sturdy. The instructions were easy to follow. Every piece was labeled and easy to find. It came in two different boxes. The frame doesn't squeak while you're in the bed. The frame is heavy once put together. It's a really great addition to my room.

The bed itself is fine. Shipping took almost a week longer than initially stated. Upon removing all the pieces from the box to assemble, it became immediately clear we were missing a key huge piece of the head board and that almost all the pieces were labeled differently than the instructional video, including hardware. Further, the video instructions seemed to be for an entirely different edition of the bed or something given different pieces, differently labeled pieces for those that matched at all, and incorrect orders of operations given all the above. It was a literal puzzle to assemble. Hopefully our bed was a one off and other people get the correct kit with all things in the box and labeled correctly and the same as in the video. Mattress does not slide. Does not make noise. Good value for money minus the two days it took to figure out the puzzle of putting it together.

Shorter than expected. The platform height is 10". The misleading pictures of the drawers they look big,they half the size. I took 2 of us about 3hrs to put together, which was ok(I guess never had to put together a bed). But I now need to buy a 5" boxspring and a mattress topper, just so I don't feel like I am sleeping on the floor. Which will be another $200. What I thought was a bargain want in the end.
