It sure is a pretty color blue! The welds look good except the one that slag had dropped off of and cut me while I was handling the parts to put it together. Those are about the only good things, not the cut but the welds. It was packaged in such a way that it had tried to exit the box during shipping and the finish was chipped in a number of places. I wasn't going to worry about that, it's a piece of shop equipment and will most likely see more chips. The engineering seems ok, but the construction quality sucks. One of the angle arms to the base misses the frame by almost 3". If it is bent in to bolt it, the holes don't line up and the bolt won't go through. I should have stopped assembling the stand once I put the casters on the main frame. It only sat on three of them. I tried rearranging them thinking maybe they varied in size. Nope, the main frame was welded together with a twist. I thought maybe I could shim that issue and still use it, so I put the fold down arms on and locked them into place. Neither of the wheels touched the ground and it still wobbled on its base. I switched the arms to the opposite sides and still the issue remained. I moved the stand around the shop knowing the floor might be uneven. No changes. The reason to have all the casters touching the floor at the same time is so there isn't excessive weight on any one or two wheels. This is probably why in the reviews there is a picture of a broken wheel. The engineering is based on all the casters being on the floor. Which brings me to the fact the engine stand does not have a makers name on any of the parts. It does not have a weight rating anywhere on the stand or any of it's parts. This stand is Identical. to the others that are rated at 1000 lbs. This makes me wonder about product liability down the road and the proof that the product was sold as a 2000 lb unit. I bought this stand to hold a 1280 lbe motor but wouldn't trust it to hold anything near that. This item gets 1 star because it wasn't constructed to meet the demands I had bought it for. It is going back even though I have spent about a half hour trying to make it useful and I'll have to bring it to Amazon's drop point to send it back. A real waste of time.

Metal thin. Not sure it will hold 1300 lbs or not without reinforcement. I've got 400 lbs on it and not impressed at all.
