I was happy to see that the bolts were graded 10.9, I am a little skeptical about that though as the 3/8" SAE bolts also had a 10.9 stamp on the head. I've never heard of an SAE bolt with a metric rating. The bolts were however nice and long for full thread engagement. I had to drill two half inch holes into the plate to mount it to my harbor freight Daytona rotating engine stand, but I can't fault it for that with there being so many variations in engine stands. It's holding my 6.0 LS with no trouble so far.

Comes with everything you need. Great fit. Put the angled slots of your stand plate to the straight groves of the adapter plate (so upside down..no arms on the plate. Your plate flat to this plate). Worked great in my LS.

I'm building a geared rotating engine stand project and this was exactly what I needed to finish it. It fits the block of my SBC perfectly, which means it fits every other LS, LT, BB and SBC Chevy V8 and most V6's, inline 6 cylinder and some 4 cylinders too. The packaging was a little weak, the parts were able to bounce around inside the package and damaged the anodization in a couple very small places, nothing noticeable from 5 ft. No big deal. I love it. Not Liking the fact that the bolts that came with it were all metric. That's fine for an LS or LT, but they should have sent both SAE and Metric if they sent any at all. Again, not a big deal, but still rankles a bit. And if you're having problems with this clearing your bellhousing alignment dowels, it's because you're doing it wrong. The spacers go against the block, not the plate, you Big Dummy.

I believe this is a far better way to mount the engine to the stand. On my Chinese engine stand the mount was flexing with the BBC. Now it stands more upright. I did have to drill new holes in the stands mount (not the products fault) to the 4 mating bolts to line up. Once that was good to go. I give it 4 of 5 stars because the item arrived with a few scratches. No biggy, it will get more scratched up in the future. And, I would probably be replacing the bolts with grade 8 bolts in the future but, as you can see the supplies bolts were of correct length and do their job. I would recommend to anyone that wants better secure ent of their engine to engine stand. Love that it grabs the engine at 6 points and not 4 points.

Feels much sturdier than the stand offs that come with the engine stands. Would be nice to have somewhere to keep the bolts that you aren't using. This definitely made me much more confident that my engine wouldn't end up on the floor. - This did not fit correctly on one of my older engine stands (the slots were just a bit short), only 3 bolts lined up, but it was still plenty good enough to rebuild a aluminum block 6.2
