We received two packages within a day, with all accessories intact and no damage. The manual was very detailed, making assembly extremely simple. The engine hoist is quite heavy, weighing over 100 pounds, and looks very sturdy. The cylinder itself has an 8 ton lifting capacity, easily hoisting my 550 pound Ford engine. The legs are spread quite wide, which ensures stable lifting of the engine. The six wheels are cast iron solid wheels, making the movement of the engine very smooth and effortless. My Ford engine was under repair for a week, during which time I waited for parts to arrive, and the engine hoist kept the engine steady without any movement. When the legs are folded up, this crane occupies less than 1.8square feet of floor space and can be stored in any corner. I think it’s an excellent crane for cars and trucks. It operates very well; once the pressure is released, the handle can be rotated downward to lower the engine, and it can be adjusted to stop the engine at a specific position. I would recommend this crane; he mentioned that I could find a decent crane within this price range.

I had to install a new engine in my 1990 classic car. It's a 6-speed manual, and I needed to hoist out the engine and transmission as a single unit. Given the limited space inside the car, I had to tilt the engine. Operating it alone, the results were great with very little side-to-side movement. Its construction is excellent, sturdy and durable, allowing me to easily extract it from the car. I had no issues with removing and reinstalling the engine, and I highly recommend this crane.
