I used to totally rely on Duracell (Mallory in old days) but in the last ten years I have totally relied on EVEREADY batteries. I have received Duracell product in last few years that the battery was sealed with the light or instruments in a blister pack and the battery/s leaked and were well within the manufacture expiration date. I have had two cameras, four flashlights ruined by the Duracell batteries and under their warranty, sent the Kel-Tec flashlights in for repair or replacement and Duracell tried to replace with a piece of junk Chinese manufactured similar. Final straw that broke the camel's back was over 10m years ago, I assembled Survival Kits for an elite US Military training group. Inside this kit was a small AAA Duracell Battery powered Kel-Light along with other Survival items. I purchased these flashlights from wholesaler in bulk, and they came with a battery installed. The Agency purchased a year's supply (100) of these kits and about six months into the program I started receiving complaints of dead batteries and corrosion. I use these batteries for my candles in the windows. The past couple of years I have used a cheaper brand and needed to replace once during the holiday season. These are yet to be replaced and have been on every night since Thanksgiving. Well worth the money. Will never buy the cheaper brand again.

Product delivered quickly for a great price! Batteries are expensive and I've found that Energizer is a good name that lasts as long as anything on the market. These are name brand batteries in "no frills" packaging (not the shiny coated cardboard with colored print you see in retail stores, but brown recycled cardboard that isn't coated and has one color print on the box). It's legit Energizer brand, just not packaged for retail store shelves. But I don't buy my batteries for the packaging -- I buy them for the power, so I don't care about the packaging. When I can get a bargain on Energizer batteries, I jump on it! :) ... show more

I haven't really noticed any difference from any other batteries. I don't recall if the prices are any better or worse, but I didn't have to go out of the house to get batteries, which is nice especially in nasty winter weather.
