I really am not sure now why I thought this would be a great investment. It's of decent quality but, of the two arms that we have, these do not properly grip the desks. The surfaces are clean, and it doesn't matter how tightly you turn them, they will gravitate to one side eventually. I hardly use mine and have had to resort to putting foam under it to get it to stay still and not dig into my desk underneath. My son uses his all day and night long and somehow his stays better but still wobbles. A wider, more low profile base would improve this greatly. ... show more

I was excited to set this up with my Wave:3 mic, however when I came back to my desk both the mic stand and mic were laying on the floor. This stand is very light-weight and is unable to support the weight of the Elgato Wave:3. There are rubber pads attached to the clamp that immediately fell off, and the clamps itself loosens up on its own. I would not recommend purchasing this for anything other than an extremely light-weight mic or accessory, and then only if you are on a budget. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works as advertised for the Elgato wave 3. Needs to be reconstructed with a little puzzle work but i got it to work at the end.
