  • Pricey, but do not leak, hold a lot of charge and last a long time
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I finally got tired of all my old school batteries leaking and ruining whatever electronics they leaked in. Sometimes the old batteries could easily be removed, sometimes they corroded the electronics of the device ruining it. In come the lithium batteries, they don't leak, hold a lot of charge and last a long time. I know a lot of people are concerned about lithium batteries catching fire, but unless the battery gets damaged, I think the probably of that happening is really low. Recommend for devices that sit around for a long time with batteries installed - flashlights, portable radio, digital camera, etc ... show more

  • Excellent batteries for specific applications
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
These are an excellent battery for very specific applications. I think a lot of the negative reviews come from people who don't exactly understand the pros and cons of different battery types, and when to use these over a standard alkaline. The performance difference between these and standard alkaline batteries really depends on the device you are using them in and the environment you use/store that device. These batteries are expensive and well worth the cost in very specific applications. For many everyday uses, you are better served with a regular alkaline like the Energizer Max. I'll discuss these uses below: Use Lithium Batteries for: 1) Devices high current draw like high performance regulated LED Flash lights, camera flashes, etc. 2) Devices that operate in extreme hot/cold environments. Alkaline batteries do not work well in cold environments, and are prone to leaking in high temperatures. These are ideal batteries for flashlights that will go in your glove box, trail cams for hot/cold weather, GPS, and other outdoor gear. 3) Devices that will sit un-used for a long period of time. Alkaline batteries can leak when left in storage for long periods of time. The chemistry in these batteries will not cause leakage, so they are great for flashlights that rarely get used but need to be ready, such as lights you keep in your glovebox. Emergency radios and other storm equipment are also great. There are plenty of applications where these aren't worth the premium over Alkaline. TV remotes, wall clocks, computer nice and keyboards, and other low-power daily use devices come to mind. My experience has been that the increased performance of these batteries is not noticable in these kinds of devices and it really isn't worth the added expense. Two other things to note. First, the initial voltage is slightly higher than standard alkalines. This usually isn't a problem but some devices may be sensitive to it. As the batteries run down, the voltage slowly drops. Second, these are noticably lighter weight than standard alkalines. Great for equipment you carry around all day or take on hikes. ... show more

  • Longest lasting batteries you can find.
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
These are the longest lasting batteries you can find. They are not rechargeable (it's not that kind of lithium, don't even try it), but they're perfect for higher voltage electronics since they keep higher voltage levels for longer compared to standard alkaline batteries. If you put these in low power electronics like your TV remote or a digital clock, expect these to last for quite a loooooong time. They may be more expensive than alkaline batteries but their longevity totally pays off in my opinion. I've easily gone through hundreds of these for wireless microphone systems at work, maybe even more, and have never been disappointed. BE SURE TO PROPERLY RECYCLE THESE AFTER USE THOUGH. These batteries are amazing but please don't throw them in the trash. Even if it seems super convenient and you think "it's only one", try to pocket it and save it with the other used ones. Take them to a e-waste center when you have a lot. If you don't have to use a lot of them for work or anything then it will take a while to collect quite a few. Maybe one trip to the recycler once every few years. I use these quite often so I have plastic magazines/holders that are colored green for fresh and red for used. Easy way to store the used ones and make sure they don't accidentally short against each other in a bag. ... show more

  • Not "new"
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
The batteries seem fine BUT they are old stock from Lowes with an expiratiion date in 2019. They are supposed to be good for 20 years, so they s/b okay, but it is something to be aware of.

  • don't leak.

  • Good for cold environments. Long life in clocks and remotes.
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I have a LED light the senses motion and light. I put it in my freezer compartment of my refrigerator which didn’t have a light. Regular batteries die out quickly in sub zero temps(work again when warmed up). These lithiums cost more but hold up for over a year. Also work well in my outside weather station sensor. For other things I use rechargeable batteries. ... show more
